App won’t open
Once again problems with the App unable to open. Unless this is resolved immediately I will cease my membership.Have not been able to download paper since the 4th of March.
New Western Mail App
The previous app for Western Mail was far easier to use. Disappointed with the new one.
Review
Saturday edition incomplete. Tapping on articles reveal a blank page. May have to cancel my subscription after many years if it doesn’t improve.
Awful
Crashes, freezes when loading. It seems to have been forgotten. There are articles in the paper that are not online. It’s hard to pay £8 a month when you don’t know if the app will work from one day to the next. Such a shame.
Individual articles fail to expand to read.
How can I open each article individually to read. At present I just expand the article on the whole page. Can I delete app and download and install and then open a new one App. Will this solve my problem. Afraid to delete App in case I’ll need to pay for it again. How can I cancel present payment? There is no help or support page for this App. Disappointed that I’m unable to use it properly. Can anyone help me with this problem please?

Easy to use and clear
Just downloaded the Western Mail for iPad. Very straightforward, seems very clear and easy to use at first glance. The option to cancel after the first free month looks pretty standard through the Apple Id subscription section. Glad I downloaded it, definitely worth a look.
No support
Via family sharing using my credit card - this is on my husbands ipad. We have both sent several emails requesting how I can 'share' the app, we have had no reply. Customer service appears unavailable. Going to cancel!
Money back?
Nice scam this. App doesn’t work and you can’t get in to cancel the subscription. Shameful customer service

Too many crashes
This app crashes too often - there are days when I can't open it. Don't want to pay for a paper I can't read.
No interactive content - just a facsimile of the paper although there are a few extra photos available and you can tap on articles now to enlarge them & read them more easily.
Could be so much better.

App crashes on 2nd day. Problem continues after reinstalling.
Not impressed
If you are going to charge for an app, it needs to be more than simply a facsimile of the paper. Disappointing. Not worth the subscription of £7.99 a month, until there is some interactivity.
Western Mail
I downloaded this app as they were offering a month's Fred subscription with the promise that the paper will download over night. Unfortunately, this does not happen and you only receive the front page. I have emailed Trinity support who just send you a list of frequently asked questions which does not solve the problem. I would not give this app any stars. Waste of time.

Broken
It doesn't, work it just keeps sending you on a merry-go-round of pushing the subscribe button, downloading, nothing, then, pushing the subscribe button, downloading, nothing........ then, pushing the subscribe button, downloading, nothing...... until you give up! Apparently Im subscribed but - no newspaper!
