I have really enjoyed the paper and like the greatly reduced waste of paper using this app. The new addition is easy to access and remains user friendly. However the moving ads, changing ads etc are not only annoying but extremely distracting and take away from the reading enjoyment. There are times I have to stop reading as these ads have led to eye strain. I certainly understand the need for revenue but get rid of the flash technology as that is not conducive to reading.

It’s good to keep up to date
95% of what I see on the internet passing for news is unverified and invariably strongly one-sided. Clearly the algorithms try to feed me only stuff that mirrors and expands on whatever I’ve bothered to watch or read previously rather than countering points of view. I appreciate that the Free Press makes an effort to present balanced and confirmed news.

Too much murder and homelessness
First of I will support the WFP because we need a city paper and coverage of major things going on here and elsewhere. I really like your editorials and bylines and read them first. I’m not interested in sports but I’m sure you do an excellent job for those who do. Basically you’re doing a great job but if you could somehow put less of emphasis on the 2 aforementioned topics at the topI wouldn’t get a dose of hopelessness when I open the paper. Just being honest. As I say keep up your values and coverage..
