“Clicks” on advertising link by itself
Every few minutes of using the app it will open a Safari link to an advertiser even if you don’t click the link. It used to be a good app but it’s now useless. I’ve deleted it and just use the browser instead.

Broken
Offline reader mode has been broken for months and support says they don’t know when it will be fixed.
Warning re:cancellation
The digital subscription to The Globe and Mail requires that one call and speak with a representative in order to cancel the subscription. The process is very cumbersome and unnecessary. Think cautiously before subscribing. Also, the paid version still has advertisements.
Can't use offline
My phone hasn't downloaded the latest edition since Feb. Appears to start and then it fails. Not clear if it's a bug or a setting on my phone, but frustrating .
