Lately stream has been freezing, tried restarting app still no success. Very disappointing, I love watching WFTV and it has always been my go to news and weather app.
Best Source for Local News
As a touring Comedian I spend upwards of 300 days a year away from my home on the Space Coast. I do like to keep updated on what’s going on in my community as I travel. I have tried several other news apps to my disappointment. WFTV 9 has raised the bar. It is easy to navigate and I stay well informed, it’s the only news app I use now.

Love the NEWS Station and Broadcasters!
I watch WFTV on my TV, almost every morning and evening before I fall asleep.
* Sporadically in my porch I’ll watch from my iPAD and it does 2 things I wish would be fixed….
1. I have to turn myiPad sideways, then BACK to get it full screen.
2. If I pause for more than a few seconds, it freezes ad I have to get out of the App and start over
** Cassie is great! Alexa is great! actually all the broadcasters are great!

App does not work
You can’t actually open the app, it always says App can’t be open, retry. It’s worthless, just stream from safari. I hope they didn’t pay for the development of this. What a rip off.

Okay app; needs improvement
This app sends out numerous notifications for stories that are not new. I go to the app only to learn it was a story reported days before and there were no changes or updates. I only have a few apps that I allow notifications so I don’t get so many in a day, but I will delete the WFTV notifications and start getting them from Fox 35 app instead.
Also they list the same story in multiple locations so that it looks like there is a lot of content .

Local Steals and Deals
I hate Steals and Deals, I want news not trying to sell us useless junk.
Great Staff
The NEWS is Really informative and to the point. Way too many commercials, especially the steals and deals (stop selling me and acting like it’s part of the NEWS it’s another ad), more commercials/ads than actual content.

Update: How about fewer political stories (which are biased anyway) and more local news and sports??? No mention that a Florida team made it to the NCAA finals. Or any other sports info.
The app could be improved by including more news stories. There are only a few stories that are repeated a few times which makes it look like a lot of items. And some stories run for days on end while others are gone after a few hours.

Ads before trying to watch stories
When you are trying to get information on a news story, you should NOT have to watch 30 seconds of ads first!!!
Always a glitch
As much as I enjoy watching WFTV, there is always a glitch of some sort every time I use the app.
It’s to the point where I just go to the website on my phone and watch there because of things like two audio tracks playing at the same time, different audio playing to what is showing on video. And a whole host of other issues.
I’m not sure if I’m the only one who experiences this But it’s incredibly frustrating.

Channel 9 Eyewitness News my favorites news team
I have relied on WFTV for as long as I can remember. They stay on top of everything important to us locals. I’ve been in Central Florida for 32 years.
Cannot open app
I’ve used this app for a while, but recently, when I click on an alert, I get an error message that the app cannot be loaded. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled it, but no luck.

Spotty service
This app sends me alerts, when I click said alert, rather than opening app & specific article, it fails, & just shows my Home Screen- its functionality is spotty at best.
Best News and weather broadcast ever
Since I’ve been here in Florida over 30 years now, I’ve watched several stations. Even in other states when visiting. I just can’t find anyone that is so up to speed on everything, keeps you posted on major things happening around and is also entertaining. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Good job and thank you all for what you do. ❣️❣️❣️
