Almost Gave 5 Stars
I love how the app does not collect any data, and it works as it is supposed to, but it only goes down to the early 1900s—not even to 1900. It would get five stars if it had information from at least the 1800s, but ideally to 1776. Other than that, I recommend this app.

Simple, easy to use, trust worthy source
And prior reviews complained that it wasn’t being updated often but it seems that the 2023 CPI info was added in Feb 2024, which is pretty good since they have to wait for the year to end and do final calculations to have that year’s official CPI.
Update for 2024 please
The website uses up to date calculations, why not the app?

Simple
Great app that just works. It has one specific function of calculating inflation and that's all I need.
Needs an update
As of now the app only calculates up to 2019 so accuracy is a bit of an issue.
Very useful tool
I use this quite often. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is that it only goes up to 2019, and I would think 2020 data is available now (end of May 2021.

I love this app but it needs to be updated. It is now 3 years behind so it’s hard to get a real value when it doesn’t go past 2018

Easy To Use BUT...
This app is not kept up-to-date. It’s now January 27, 2021 and the app only goes up to 2019. I’d think that a BANK would want to keep their information current. PLEASE KEEP THIS APP CURRENT!

Can Know Longer Use on iPhone
This app has been great but since the update a few days ago I can’t use it on my iPhone. The background is almost white and the keyboard absent. The latest version update has ruined this app.
Brilliant, but needs an update
I use this app all the time, but it really needs to be updated with the latest data. As of now, it only goes up to 2018. I feel like the app used to updated more regularly, so I don’t know what’s going on.

Luv this app! Really nice when reading about what something cost in the past and can compare it to today. April 2017 now, hope they update to 2018 soon. Now November 2019, but not yet updated to 2019.

Delivers exactly what it promises, and saves looking up an inflation calculator. If only all apps worked this well.
