Free!?!

Free if you only want to save 10 places after that it is $$$ per year. So disingenuous.

Used to review this 5 star

Used to be a fantastic app, especially for first responders, but now it’s plagued with adds, it takes away vital minutes waiting for the adds to skip. Sadly, no longer as useful.

Dangerous ad fest

Echoing a lot of the recent reviews about how brazen the ads are now. This service literally advertises how it can be used to get emergency medical assistance, the idea that you would need to watch a full screen advert before you can get your location for help is disgusting. I appreciate free services need funding, but intrusive adds or a £30 a year subscription for something most people only use a few times or in emergencies is gross. It’s clear they’ve decided they can get away with it while the average review score is still high.

Was great - now rubbish

Travelling around the country and needing to save multiple locations this app was great, been able to quickly share destinations with my work colleagues and the integration to use Tom Tom as my navigation app was also great, now it’s unusable, the small portion of the map is unusable because of adds, can no longer save a new destination etc etc, it’s ruined.

Ads galore!

Not supposed to be this way

Ads are creeping in

Was a great app and I understand it needs to be funded somehow. But the ads are now starting to make easy use of the app more difficult.
Would be annoying if using in an emergency you were forced to read an ad first…!
Can no longer use Google maps without paying for annual subscription.

Was a favourite

Oh what a shame I used to go to this app as a favourite but now it’s fallen into the hands of the money-grabbers. Combined with good navigation apps, like Waze, it was unbeatable but no longer. The bean counters have done it again.

What a shame

Absolutely great app but what a shame that they had to start charging a monthly fee to use it in the car where it comes in handy the most 😤

Very precise

Easy to use and very good to navigate

Bloody useless

Been on five minutes and can’t find anything that tells me how to use it.
Yet another tech waste of time.

Great

Most stupid app I ever seen

It just add a wrapper to the global coordinate. Doesn’t know why bother? When I try to use it, the add forced me to play a game to certain level, not just wait some time. Finally after I done that, I can only open apple map, which convert back to coordinates again. What a waste of time

Now useless

I’m only an occasional user of this app but to open it this morning and find I can’t even search for a location that’s been sent to me because you now have to pay. Well done developers you’ve just made your app defunct and will drive people away! Shame, this was a great resource. I shall be deleting.

Now it’s got turned into paid app it stopped delivering for free users

I can’t describe how I despise the thing now and the direction it’s evolving. It’s been imperfect before but you could find places and there was a choice of navigation apps to choose. Now it’s only Apple Maps and takes 3 commercials before the guidance loads, if you’re lucky, or it will just crash several times and you need to type the 3 words over again and again. Now that’s all good if you can express yourself in English spelled correctly, but if you don’t… my slightly dyslexic lady in the office can send me on mystery trips nowhere, or someone Indian or from elsewhere writing what they hear, that’s a nightmare. The only app so cumbersome to use, nothing fluent about it, always struggle on my iPhone. And pointless as there’s better ones free and working in more than just few countries where people use English.

Lake America?

App deleted. No thanks.

Really Bad

Terrible implementation on iOS. Assumes you are using Apple Maps when you click on Navigate. Shows in Settings I have Google maps installed but will not let me select it. Even if I delete Apple Maps I still cannot select Google Maps. Come on devs, fix this cos it’s unusable right now.

Beware Google links

I don’t have the pro version so ads are displayed at the top of the app screen. Every ad has some form of “Activate your app” and leads directly to a payment page.

Used it for about 1 minute

Downloaded the app, opened it and tried to close an ad for some library but it directed me to safari and then wouldn’t let me leave and kept opening apple pay for me to subscribe to I have no idea what!Immediately deleted the app

Verification??

I used for the first time in a long time today. Having found my destination I clicked on navigation in Apple Maps and was provided a verification link. This was for a free trial for one day after which I would be charged £34.99 a month on Apple Pay. This verification will not go away even after deleting and reinstalling the app. I’ll be deleting it permanently if this continues

Privacy Concerns

Mobile phone location is already automatically given to the emergency services via AML which is free and open source.
Starting to question what use there is for a bloated 230MB App which has ties to India and China!!!
