Was a great app

I used to use this for work with working for an emergency service, however since it is no longer compatible with my mapping systems without paying I have now deleted the app. What was a great app for use within first response now as much use a map book. Really disappointed

Spam upon spam ads

I just want to use the app, don’t push your millions of pop ups to pay for things

It’s the only way pinpointing works!! 🥰

Helped in an Emergency

I broke down, had to call police as was unsafe, I couldn’t give directions and they couldn’t find me. I pulled up what 3 words and they were there within 3 minutes. Thankyou.

Can’t open app anymore

I’m not sure what has happened, but the app and website crash immediately.

Pay wall

Oh dear, how to take a universally brilliant idea for safety and accuracy and ruin it by making it a subscription app. I remember when it was first marketed and it was on TV and was for so many wonderful reasons, could be used by the emergency services etc. Now it’s ’just another app’. Will be using google maps in future. What a shame.

Pro mode is a con

Pay £3.50 for pro mode. And it uses Apple Maps anyway which you already have on an iPhone. Will never install or pay for this app again.

Brilliant

Great app!

But how do EMS know whether I’m upstairs or down?

Deceptively charged me 30 pounds

So apparently I signed on for some membership just to link google maps for navigation and it’s just swiped 30 quid from my account. I used this for work so I am essentially being charged for doing my job properly. You guys ought to be ashamed of yourself, I was struggling as is and thats a ridiculous price for a rather benign service. Thanks.

Confused

All it does is ask what language I use and that’s it! Am I missing something?

This needs investigation. Potentially banning from App Store. Dodgy ads looking for payments and not responding to cancels, straight to Apple pay…..

Ruined

Wish I hadn’t updated the app. Was great… now I’ll just not bother with it. Annoying adverts, can’t use Google navigation, can’t save any more favourites. Utterly wrecked.

From good to lousy in one instant

Introduction of advertising, an exhortation to go premium and malware type phishing ads. No thanks - how to ruin a decent app in one easy lesson - for an app that might be useful in a emergency this is a very poor and retrograde step- being spammed with poor quality malware type advertising each time you open this is despicable actually.

Fantastic app keep up the good work👍

Spot on

An excellent app. for identifying where you live. Don’t suffer delivery company excuses that they couldn’t find your address and waste your time arranging another delivery date.

Wasn’t broken so why fix it?

This WAS an excellent app that had the potential to be lifesaving as well as being so useful.
Then the A.I. moved in.
Up until a few months ago, W3W enabled users to coordinate with Google Maps & other apps.
Now, they want you to subscribe to their own maps & for A.I. to interact with you. So much for the lifesaving element that boasted how various rescue teams were able to use W3W in order to find you accurately in times of emergency.
I used it regularly as a means to inform drivers in my logistics company to find the right location easily.
Now I’m plagued with irritating, pointless emails from W3W & the system is no longer viable.
Hopefully, this update will be revised & reversed ASAP.

An amazing app

Never fails to get me to where I need to go would highly recommend this. I’m very old old school when it comes to technology. But this app works so so well, kind regards, Gav.

Excellent navigation part but app ruined by adverts

A google ad for an app I have zero interest in takes up the top 1/4 of the screen with no way to remove it!

Hmm no thanks, I’ll not be using w3w unless I absolutely have to. You sold out to google, shame!
