Growing up I was fluent in Teochew, but when my grandma passed away I wasn't able to practice it and speak it as much. Now, I am 17 and have forgotten how to speak fluently however I know words when I hear it. This app has helped me so much to reconnect with Teochew and be able to hold a conversation with my elders!

Great refresher
Teo chew is a dying dialect so this app is so helpful in brushing up my grammar and vocabulary. I love all the phrases and how organized the categories are. Its fun and reminiscent to use. I hope they keep updating with more sentences :)
Preserves Teochew Language
I never rate apps, but I'm so grateful for this app that I just had to review it. As a heritage speaker I find myself forgetting some words, and this app helps me to continue learning Teochew. It's hard to find Teochew resources, and I applaud the team's efforts in preserving precious Teochew. Also, I love the improvements from additional words to the colorful interface. You can even suggest words to be added to the dictionary! Thank you so much for making this app! And it's free, thus making Teochew even more accessible!

Native speakers have confirmed to me that this is accurate Teochew. Useful sound recordings help you to pronounce the words correctly. Lots of everyday vocabulary.

Great language app
The interface is modern and easy to navigate, the search function is pretty decent, and most terms have spoken forms you can listen to. One of the best resources for Teochew I’ve seen.
makes me emotional
so glad i can still preserve and keep teochew close to me whenever i feel homesick or out of touch with my family in sf. new gen must preserve and not let our elders be uneasy of us forgetting our culture is so beautiful and impactful and the story of diaspora. gaginang love this app so much thank you.
