AI Images

Didn’t even make it through the intro slides of the app because I was so turned off by the AI-generated images of “athletes”. It was seriously so bad. Like the image of a woman in a transport chair that was too big for her at the gym, a man in a chair not meant for basketball on the basketball court with the spokes all messed up (and no axle). If those are just the images that greet you when you open the app I don’t need to see the rest and don’t trust it to give me advice on how to workout when clearly they haven’t actually had real wheelchair users using the app.

Feels Like a Cash Grab Disguised as Support for Wheelchair Users

I was excited to support an app marketed for people in wheelchairs, but Wheel Fit is a disappointment. After paying $5 just to install it, I found that most of the workouts are locked behind an additional monthly subscription. Even worse, the app uses AI-generated images of wheelchair users instead of real people or qualified trainers. It comes across as a low-effort money grab rather than a genuine resource. If you’re in a wheelchair and looking for real support, look elsewhere — like Wheel With Me: Adapt Fit, which is built by someone who actually lives this life. I hope the developers take this feedback seriously and stop exploiting our community.
