About
WHEELCHAIR D is a wheelchair racing game that drives the way a real wheelchair moves: each wheel has its own lever. Push both to go straight, ease off one side to turn, pull one back to spin on the spot. Easy to pick up, hard to master. Carrying speed through a corner takes a steady pair of hands.
HOW IT PLAYS
- Two levers, left and right, one for each wheel
- Physics you can feel: momentum, banked turns, curbs, gravel, slides and wall hits
- Chase camera, or a first-person view from the seat
31 COURSES
- Looping circuits, from a banked oval to tight technical tracks
- Point-to-point street stages and downhill runs
- Switch on RAIN for a slippery track, or DIRT for bumps and jumps
TIME TRIAL
- Race the clock alone, with your best run as a ghost
- Set a world record and enter your name. Every player on that course will see it
- The world-record pace runs down the track as a glowing yellow line, just like a swimming final on TV
- Every record is checked by replaying your exact inputs, so the times on the board are real
BATTLE
- Race three rivals with contact on
- Win to raise your star rating and face faster opponents
PRACTICE
- A walled yard with pylons to learn the controls at your own pace
ALSO
- Watch your race again in replays with trackside cameras
- Choose your rider
- No account needed to play or to set world records
