When Can I Retire User Reviews

Top reviews

Very useful and insightful

Allows you to slice and dice your numbers in so many different ways. Graphs and charts are very useful. Great information. While not fully reliable, it gives great direction/guidance for financial planning.

Don’t waste your time

Not very flexible, below average user interface / programming, and a paywall after you enter in all of your info.

Need to pay to use

Tried to set up my info and before I gives me ANY results, I’m made to either pay for the app monthly or yearly. No free features. Avoid

Good app

Nice to see month by month amounts

Not free

Wont tell you anything without a subscription

Good app

Great app to approximate retirement income

Easy to use

A great way to experiment with retirement savings variables to look at options and plan ahead.

Requires purchase

I filled in the long questionnaire asking my financial status and savings. After that long process it asked me if I wanted to pay monthly or annually for the results. What a terrible waste of time. The votes are clearly inflated.

Simple straightforward.

Does the job. Not super flexible but certainly a great start to get an idea of where you are and where you need to be. Thank you for this.

Yeah, right

Ok sure

No Pulitzer unless you pay … at the end

Terrible marketing ploy. Avoid.

Easy to use

Nice little app!

Fantastic.

Intuitive and comprehensive, this App allows you
to massage many variables to get a real feel about
how your retirement plan is shaping up and what you can do to improve it.

Very Cool Calculator for Retirement

Really cool retirement calculator. I’m 56 and it looks like I can quit fulltime work at 62. Still work part time and travel the country in my van πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸš

Dale

The Social Security amount does not allow for married couples totals vs an individual.
The calculation always shows two years out to retire even if there are millions in the balance at the end of life.

Lacks explanations

Average report

Nice app

Fun for a quick snapshot on where you stand

Great calculator

This is a Very nice calc.

Well written and simple to use

Simple to use and gives a great view to support retirement aspirations.

Would be great to include a few factors to even better forecasting.

Would be good to separate taxed (cash/ investments) and taxed advantages savings (401k / pensions) to determine actual retirement age as certain savings can’t be used until 59 1/2.

Social Security income is capped at 5k per month which is not in line with actual caps.
