How come little critter in "When I get bigger" doesn't wear pants in town?
I have read this book many times and wondered why little critter doesn't wear pants? In the first page little critter is undressed and has no clothes on. Then in the next page he walks to the store wearing only a shirt but he doesn't wear pants or shoes so you can see his furry bottom and bare feet. Then he does wear pants while visiting his grandparents and in school. But then he goes back to being half dressed wearing only a shirt but no pants while wearing roller skates. While he's riding his bike he wears a hat and shirt but no pants and shoes on and the same playing with critter friends at the playground, even his critter friends don't wear pants or shoes. Little critter tries on boots while still having no pants on. At home he's still half dressed wearing a shirt but no pants on while dialing the phone and ordering a catalog and even watching TV. Then we see little critter undressed getting ready to go to bed. Anyways I find it very silly and cute Little critter can go around town without pants on, show off his furry bottom and not get in trouble for it. I enjoyed the music. My only complaint about this ebook is why don't the characters move like in the Livingbooks computer games? Also I hope there be a cartoon show about the Little critter books.
