Genius

The productivity app I didn’t know I needed. KISS

Response from developer

Thank you so much! KISS is exactly the philosophy I’m trying to keep — happy it landed🐦‍⬛

Bad Buissness Model

The dev released an app ‘free, no ads’ then proceeded to add pro features weeks later behind a $40 purchase lifetime (not everyone is okay with subs so I dont care what they are)’

Other devs honor previous users of the apps by giving those users access as new ‘pro’ users. This one didnt.

Part of being on the app store is understanding your market, keeping your users happy, and devloping software that standsout in a sea of other apps vying for the attention of the same users.

This dev offered users on reddit a promo code and then lied to app raven users that he couldnt do anything.

Bad biz.

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback. The core functionality of Wheneri remains completely free: unlimited events, no ads, and no aggressive paywall. Pro features were added later to support ongoing development and currently include optional extras like notes and insights. There are now multiple Pro options available, including monthly, yearly, and lifetime plans (initially only lifetime was available due to a temporary issue). Promo codes were also shared with both Reddit and AppRaven users, so the statement that none were provided is incorrect. I still appreciate the feedback and will continue improving the app.

has potential

the idea for this app is good, and i was excited to try it. it’s great to be able to have a list of things you need to keep track of. however, it doesn’t send reminders on the day the task is supposed to happen, so it defeats the whole point of keeping track.

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback. 🐦‍⬛ Wheneri is designed to be a simple and calm way to track when you last did something and know when it’s time again - without constant reminders or pressure. Instead of frequent notifications, the idea is to build a simple check-in routine. I’m planning to add gentle daily or weekly reminders to support this habit. Thanks for trying it 🙏

Simple. Efficient. Love it.

Perfect app to track how long I haven’t don’t something. You didn’t realize how time passes by. I thought I did something “the other day” it was 27 days ago. That’s crazy. Thanks for making this! And for making it accessible (free)

Response from developer

Thank you so much! 🫶 “The other day = 27 days ago” is exactly why I built Wheneri 🐦‍⬛ Really glad it’s useful!
