Not counting my steps…

I downloaded this game because I thought it would be a fun way to keep track of my steps, and I love the idea of collecting monsters. I work two jobs and walk about 12,000 steps a day between both of them. I made sure my Health app was up to date and the pedometer was working. It is. But this game only registered 23 steps…. Across 3 working days. I would open my health app and check my steps, then exit out of this game and reboot it. Same thing, only 23 steps were registered. I’m not sure what happened. It was counting my steps before, for maybe about the first 4 hours that I had it… then it just stopped.

Response from developer

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re really sorry to hear that the step tracking isn’t working as expected—we completely understand how frustrating that must be, especially with how active you are! Could you try a few troubleshooting steps? Make sure you get through the tutorial to the part where you run out of Stamina, and also check that Motion Permissions and Apple Health have given permission. If the problem persists, we’d love to look into it further. Please reach out to our support team with details about your device and OS version, and we’ll do our best to assist you. We truly appreciate your patience and hope we can get this sorted so you can enjoy the game to the fullest! If you encounter any other issues, please send an e-mail to help@talofagames.com.

Really cute game!

I don’t see any of the bugs reported in other reviews, and the game is really fun! I haven’t had it for long but it’s encouraged me to walk far more than Pokémon go or other walking games! The artstyle and creatures are all really cute! The intro is a really neat way to tell you what’s happened and the little fight scenes are just the perfect difficulty!

Fun, cute, charming and interesting.

I love this game! It’s so nice earning currency just by walking. Then when I’m sitting I can play the game for 5 minutes and put it down. A unique and cozy way to pass the time. It’s enjoyable but not addicting, which is really nice. I also love the cute style, it reminds me of a game boy advance game.

Stuck?

I’ve been playing for awhile and as far as I can tell I’ve unlocked all of the map except for the islands. It says I need a monster that can jump there, but none of the monster descriptions say anything about that. I’ve also finished the chapter quests and maxed out my base, so I’m not sure if I’m just done now?

Response from developer

Thank you for reaching out and for playing the game—we’re thrilled to hear you’ve progressed so far! To unlock the islands, you’ll need to recruit a specific monster with jumping abilities. While this ability might not be explicitly mentioned in the descriptions, some rare monsters have unique traits that can help. Keep an eye out for clues in side quests or special events that might guide you toward these monsters. As for finishing the chapter quests and maxing out your base, congratulations—that’s a huge achievement! While the main storyline may be complete, there’s still plenty to explore with side missions, events, and trying new strategies with your monsters. We’re always working on updates, so stay tuned for new content soon! Thank you again for being part of our community! If you encounter any other issues, please send an e-mail to help@talofagames.com. Happy gaming!

Fun but definitely still just starting

I like this game a lot I just would like more ways to level up my monsters such as using duplicates and more guidance on where and what I’m supposed to be doing,
