This update adds major new public-data layers and makes the map easier to explore. New safety and infrastructure layers: * Natural Hazard Risk from the FEMA National Risk Index, by county and census tract, plus FEMA flood zones. * Levee systems with FEMA accreditation context, and National Bridge Inventory bridges color-coded Good, Fair, or Poor — each with tap-to-view detail. * New "Hazards & Safety" and "Infrastructure" sections in the Area Briefing. Easier to navigate: * The Layers tab is now organized into collapsible groups, and Settings is grouped into clear sections. * Places are color-coded by type, with clearer clusters and icons for food, sights, outdoors, and more. The Area Briefing is interactive — tap a topic to toggle its map layer or show nearby places. Richer detail: * Improved rain and snow data, plus new tiles for hot days, freezing days, bright days, humidity, elevation, and population. * Save places and areas, compare two areas side by side, and ask the AI Assistant to move the map or toggle layers by text or voice. Also included: refined iPad layouts, clearer Air Quality and Crime cards, improved distance labels, better accessibility, color-blind-friendly palettes, a loading Retry option, and performance and reliability improvements.
