WhirledPiece: Timer & Scorer

WhirledPiece is a shot timer and paper-target practice scorer for recreational and competitive shooting. It listens for shots on your device and gives you tools to review results and correct mistakes. REVIEW YOUR TIMING Start a timed string, wait for GO, and review first-shot time, splits and the recorded waveform. Adjust missed or false calls and distinguish your shots from another shooter's. Detection can miss shots or mistake range noise for shots, so results stay correctable. TRAIN FROM YOUR PHONE OR WATCH Use the timer directly or start a countdown with Siri. An optional Range Training Workout covers an indoor or outdoor range visit across multiple strings. It shows elapsed visit time, completed strings and detected shots, with explicit finish controls. When Apple Watch owns the workout, it can display live and average heart rate and active energy when hardware and permissions provide them. Wrist-recoil corroboration and synchronized haptics support the workout. Without a Watch, iPhone records visit duration and app-calculated string/shot totals without inventing sensor readings. You can also train without Apple Health. HealthKit-derived metrics and workout records are not uploaded for analytics or model training. SCORE YOUR PAPER Print WhirledPiece Precision WP-1, photograph it and review the proposed alignment and hits. The app can suggest WP-1, NRA B-2 or B-3 from a photo, and you can recheck or choose the printed target type. For B-2/B-3, fitted rings and possible impacts provide an editable draft score when analysis succeeds. Both target-model selections use the same NRA engine; the learned verifier's weights apply to WP-1 only. Proposals can miss holes or mistake print for holes. Check the alignment, caliber, marks and misses before relying on a score. B-8/B-6 and B-16 support manual alignment and marking. Zoom in, hide overlays, move or add a mark, and undo an edit. Calculated misses follow your round count; you can enter your own. An untouched expected-round default can grow with proposed shots, while a count you explicitly enter is preserved. Target scoring is a practice aid, not an official gauge or sanctioned-match adjudication. KEEP YOUR RECORDS Save sessions and target results to private history. Optional Apple or email account linking makes synced history available at app.whirledpiece.ai. Pending uploads remain distinct from completed sync. Review corrections help evaluate future models.
