Original game changed on me!
Was playing Whirly word from the time I got the I-pad, had accumulated over 26 million points and now they changed the game on me and I am now playing anew version, starting from scratch. What the hell is going on here?
Why not use the whole dictionary
It is an addictive game and of course one wants to achieve the best result unfortunately legitimate words are not recognised and some words that come up as answers are beyond anything that a normal thinking person could possibly imagine. What a pity because it is both an enjoyable and instructive game. I notice I’m not the only person with this complaint so go on re-collaborate and we will all be happy.

Terrible Dictionary
Missing lots of valid words. Has lots of foreign words and medical terms.
Buggy
Works well until after playing forever suddenly you cannot progress. Wait till you get to “MASSAS” for example.

What kind of word game doesn’t accept countries as words? What dictionary are you pulling words from? This falls under the heading of BOGUS. Deleted.
Ridiculous words
Letters NOCEEE cannot produce a valid word. Have to give up. Some of the words are stupid.

I had the right word but had to end game to find out that I had the right word so I lost all my points. This is crap

Wonderful, wordy, whirly whimsy. Have been playing for literally YEARS! So, so, sooo happy it is still being updated. Nothing fancy, nothing overwhelming just anagrams. Great look and simple game play. Yes, some words are rather niche, but once you learn them (which is something you can do with this) you’ll know in future, also good for scrabble training! I will agree with another reviewer, maybe some 9 letter words? 🤞🧐😁

Please improve the vocabulary. You have many obscure words (which is challenging) but when you don’t recognize some commonly used words it becomes frustrating.

Love the game. However, there are many words I use in other word games that are not accepted here. I see some slang, but not others. some foreign but not others. Just not consistent.

My go to game
I’ve been playing Whirly Word for over 10 years and there isn’t a day I don’t spend at least a little time with it. There is occasionally a “stumper” word but learning those increases your knowledge. If ever I have a few moments to kill, I pull up Whirly Word and figure out some words. If you like word puzzles like I do, this is a must have!

Limited vocabulary lets it down
Very addictive, nice user interface, but there are so many bona fide commonly used words out there that it won't accept, and there are words that it expects that are either so obscure as to be unlikely to occur to the user, or are frankly invented. If you go for the competition level dictionary then you really are in the realms of fantasy. Sometimes it allows proper names, sometimes it doesn't. At the end of the day there are only so many six letter words out there anyway, so it gets very repetitive. But it is addictive, so you can waste a lot of time not improving your vocabulary or your sanity!

But so many words missing. Plurals are so tiresome to count.
I am Om puzzle 3000 I think. I need more words not name of religious lead in Luxembourg
But I still play just want updates

Good Game
Fun and challenging.
What’s up with the foreign words
Love the game, but the sneaky foreign word or two isn’t fair to players. By the same token, some foreign words that have become part of the everyday vernacular are not considered as options when solving puzzles. Either all foreign words are game or none at all.
Needs an update!
Good game concept. Fun to play. Many valid words are not recognized. The games need to be updated.
