They consider Eta a word but not mia. They no do consider anime a word. But plenty of good hours playing this game since I was a kid.

Really enjoyable app until you start repeating games. The amount of games is quite small unfortunately so interest wanes quite quickly. Has not had any updates in many years.

Enjoyable, but . . .
This game is fun and helps build your vocabulary BUT there are far too many foreign words included. There are also a lot of obscure medical terms, which is fine, but there are quite a few words that are in different Asian languages that are simply not part of the English language and haven’t really become part of the English language yet. Also, there are a fair number of proper nouns that supposedly aren’t included, but they are included. I think better quality control would help the game be more enjoyable.

Keeps me exercising my brain
I’m an older person who has problems with cognitive decline. I use this game to keep my brain from being lazy. I have found that Whirly Word has helped me sharpen my thinking and upping my skill set. To top it off, it’s a lot of fun and I get great satisfaction when I complete a puzzle!

I love doing Whirly word and I normally love the easy access to the game. I love that it has a summary so I really hope nothing changes!
