Pretty solid

Pretty solid compared to subscription apps. I mostly use it to keep track and notes of bottles I have in my shelves. I wish I could add my own pictures.

Nice try

But many shops are not available and also a lot of my bottles are not listed. Also when marking for library I should be able to ad my paid prize and other parameters

Update to Pro

I reached my limit in my entries and when I click to upgrade to Pro it just says “connecting to iTunes Store” but nothing happens.

That doesn't sound right. Please try this while we look into the issue. Sign in to Wine-Searcher.com using your Whiskey Searcher email and password, and upgrade to PRO from there. This will push PRO features to your Whiskey Searcher account. Contact feedback@whiskeysearcher.com if you have any problems.

Decent tracker

I use the app mainly to keep track of my personal ratings, but ratings can never be updated as app gives an error.

Thanks for the Stars. You can make and edit your personal ratings and 5-star scores on any normal day. We had a minor software bug – which has been fixed. It helps to keep your app up to date with the latest version from the iOS app store, plus you get access to new features first.

Error Message on updating favorites

If i want to edit a favorite (Bewertungen) the following Message appears:

Cannot update unmatched name without unmatched Image id.

Hey Ghon...big, Prices get picked up every day from more than 30,000 stores. Stores can charge any price they like. Whiskey Searcher is simply the search engine that helps you find the lowest prices - worldwide, or near you.

Like the idea, but coverage needs to be better

Like the idea, but very limited number of stores and often see things at either crazy high prices or nowhere to be found. Definitely a keeper, but if I can easily find something that the app can’t, or easily find something for a much better price, it needs some fine tuning.

Also don’t understand why it shows sellers who won’t ship to your area - a sort field would be very helpful.

You can sort by country or state, even down to zip code if in the US. Clicking on a store's profile lets you see where a particular store ships to. Prices can also be sorted from high to low, or lowest per 750ml to find the best buys for cases. New products and prices are picked up from stores with online price lists every day.

Nice app. Great for recording your inventory but cannot find everything in production yet.

Chrome reports attacker might be stealing data

The app was amazing but now I’m not able to used because security certificate is not trusted by my phone nor chrome.

States that this may be caused by a mid configuration or attacker intercepting.

Please fix.

Massive Fail

It is impossible to merely sort by your one location, either state or zip, you will still get list of locations throughout the USA in my case listing ZERO retailers in my selected locations. I even reduced my search to commonly available bourbons, literally available everywhere but not according to this app.

Sorry to hear you have had an issue. Please check the 'Filters' button at the bottom of the page. Using Filters you can lock-in your location. If there are no shops selling what you searched for, that's the time the app says "No results for _ _ " and then uses an 'expanded search' to look further field rather than disappoint with zero results. Results pretty random

Thought this would be a great app to finally locate where in hell bottles I want to buy are actually sold in my area. Instead I get a randomized list from startes other than my own. When I select "stores near me" I get random "best buys" that could be anything other than whiskey and nothing to do with my original search. Huge missed opportunity. If I want to search for Weller, tell me where it is near me! Point 2- stop giving stores that inflate their prices to gouge the customer any space on this app! They don't deserve any free advertising. I'm not paying $500+ for a $40 bottle. Put the suggested retail price and the store price side by side so buyers can make educated decisions.

Good but not great

Try searching for 1792 Bourbon. Good luck! I tried to find contact info within the app and there is none. Otherwise I would have not left a review here. I use the app frequently like I said it’s a good app, but leaves me baffled. I’m sure there are other search glitches.
