This is a big update for home bakers and cottage food businesses — costing, market prep, and recipe import all got smarter. RECIPES & COSTING • Split one recipe into parts (cookies vs filling, frosting, or icing). Cost still adds up as one bake. • Website, paste, and photo import keep those headings, so cookie and icing stay in their own groups. • Add a yolk or egg white without a second pantry egg. Cost uses the part you chose; the shopping list still talks in carton eggs. • Count items like bananas use typical edible weights, or they ask for a weight instead of guessing. • Scaling always starts from the original recipe — 4x then 2x is 2x the original, not 8x. • Metric display keeps small spoons as spoons. Larger amounts can show in grams. • Type package servings for nutrition, and fill cup / tbsp / tsp from one bag weight. • Homemade mixes (ganache, spice blends) cost more accurately when the mix is in grams. MARKET DAY & SHOPPING • Market Plan: decide what to bake and how much for a farmers market, farm stand, or pop-up, then make a shopping list. • Full-screen store checklist — check items off as you walk the aisles. • After shopping, update pantry prices from the trip (optional receipt photo). • After the event, log how it went, then add what you earned and spent. MONEY LOG • Simple earned vs spent list for your cottage bakery (More → Money log). • Filter by this month, 30 days, 90 days, or custom dates. • Tag income as market sales, farm stand, preorder, custom order, wholesale, or other. • See percent of earned money by source and a simple earned trend. • Mileage is tracked in miles and is not counted as income. Free samples are not income. • Export a spreadsheet for your records. IMPORT & PANTRY • Photograph a grocery receipt to fill in prices — you still review and save. • Import recipes from pasted text, a photo, or a website link, then match each line to your pantry. • Unsaved ingredient drafts stay put if you switch apps mid-edit. • Allergen tags on ingredients help cottage food labels stay consistent. HELP & ACCOUNT • Help starts with a written answer in baker language. If you still need a person, the team can see which article you already tried. • Settings shows where you purchased (App Store vs website) so you update billing in the right place. • You can request account deletion from the app. Fixes and polish throughout, including Sign in with Apple, clearer missing-recipe details, and quieter sample-recipe reminders.
