Thanks for the great-concept comment! One quick clarification: the free version isn’t a limited “lite” edition - it exists so you can see exactly what the app does and how it works before paying, so no one buys and feels let down afterwards. Pure customer protection. That’s why two whole regions (about 500 distilleries) are fully unlocked, with maps, profiles, and search all working completely. The paid version then opens up the remaining 7,000+ distilleries worldwide. We’d genuinely love for you to explore the free regions first - there’s a lot there. Slàinte!

Für meine Recherchen und zur Planung der Destilleriebesuche einfach ein Traum. Über 5000 Whisk(e)y Destillerien kann man nicht mehr allesamt auf dem Schirm haben.
Gut, aber es fehlen Hinweise auf Besucherzentren
Eine beeindruckend große Datenbank bei vernünftigen Abo Preis.
Was ich vermisse ist ein Hinweis ob die Destillerie ein Besucherzentrum hat und ggf. den Link dorthin.

Eine ausgezeichnete App die ich schon in der Betaphase begleitet habe. Ideal zur Unterstützung bei Tastings und aber auch sowohl für „Neulinge“ oder „Experten“ geeignet. Ein „must Have“

Since 2009 I have been following the creation of the Alba Collection whisky maps, which were gradually developed as a paper version for the whole world. This app puts the icing on the cake! I am a tour operator specialising in whisky tours and have been in the test pool for this app for years. This app is ideal when traveling, but also useful for any whisky tasting and everyday use. Find active distilleries, navigate there, read more information, a quick check which distillery is nearby - everything is very well and functionally solved. Various filters can be applied, there is a time machine and other exciting things to discover too. The app offers some amazing options for unique experiences. An example: On one of my trips to Ireland, I wanted to find places where there is nothing to see yet, but where a distillery will soon be built. In many (!) cases we knew more through the app than the people in town! We had wonderful encounters, exciting conversations and a lot of fun researching. You can also use the app to do research on long time lost distilleries. This app is a must have for whisky lovers, whether beginners or connoisseurs. Very helpful for whisky trips, tastings, a quick lookup - and good fun „off the beaten track“.

Must have für den Nerd!
Sehr gute Map, alles für den Whisk(e)y Entusiasten. Man findet Daten zu allen Brennereien und deren hergestellten Sorten. Ebenso stillgelegte und Planung befindliche. Das macht richtig Laune evtl. welche auf der Map zubesuchen, bzw. deren Stoff zu testen 👍

Die App ist ein absolutes „must have“ für den und die Whisk(e) Liebhaber/in. Ich habe die App schon in der Beta-Version genutzt und in Schottland und Südamerika Destillen gesucht und gefunden. Tastings mit Freunden, Bekannten und Gästen können perfekt mit Hintergrundinformationen bereichert werden.
Der jetzt geforderte Abo-Preis ist sehr fair und dem Produkt angemessen.

Absolut bemerkenswert!
Ich durfte die App schon in der Beta Phase testen und hab mich nun noch ausgiebig mit der nun für alle zugänglichen Version beschäftigt.
Wie schon im Titel finde ich die Daten Tiefe absolut bemerkenswert. Die App ist sowohl für den Einsteiger als auch für den Enthusiasten ein Traum. Eine unglaubliche Datenbank an weltweiten Whisk(e)y Destillen mit Hintergründen zu den Herstellungstechniken, der Größe der Destille und nicht zuletzt auch das absolute Knaller Feature das jede Destille direkt mit Maps verbunden ist und man sich komfortabel hin navigieren lassen kann.
Als Whisky Influenza nutze ich die App immer wieder aber habe bei weitem noch nicht den ganzen Umfang genutzt. Einfach Super 👍

Endlich !
Mega App, das ist die Lösung und Antwort auf meinen Fragen wo sich die Brennereien befinden und wie ich dort hinkomme! Danke für diesen Meilenstein.
Super Idee
Ich benutze diese App schon seit Beginn der Entwicklungsphase. Es ist eine Mega Sache, dass Alba Collection hier nun all ihre Daten zusammen trägt. Bei Veranstaltungen hat man so immer aktuelles Karten Material dabei. Und wenn es beim Stammtisch mal wieder Diskussionen gibt, ob eine Destillerie nun hier oder dort liegt… Zack… keine offenen Fragen mehr. Und das weltweit.
Die Zeitreise ist eine tolle Sache, wenn man bei Tastings mal die Entwicklung in einer Region zeigen möchte.
