wonderful app for checking whisky ratings. Sharing opinions. Recording bottles on hand or in the past. Also has a wish list feature and can scan labels. Handy to check prices. I highly recommend the app

Crashes; Won’t save info

Love the website but the app is awful right now. Try to do anything to my profile and it crashes. Try to view my collection and it locks up. Unusable…

Geht nicht

Nach mehrfachem Versuch mein Account wiederherzustellen, habe ich einen neuen erstellt. Dort bin ich eine Nummer und kann an meinem Profil nur anpassen welches Bild ich haben möchte. Ich kann aber nicht mal das Profil löschen. Ganz zu schweigen, dass ich beim vergessen des Passwortes nicht mal bestätigen kann um eine Mail zum passwortreset zu bekommen. Wie soll ich denn da überhaupt eine Sammlung anlegen. Leute tut mal was!

Funktioniert nicht mehr

Wann wird diese App denn mal aktualisiert? Sie ist bereits seit langer Zeit nicht mehr nutzbar, das sie beim Anklicken eines Whiskys jeweils komplett abstürzt.

Crashes All the Time

I am a big fan of the website and really want the app to work well on my phone so I can make best use of the resources of the website. Unfortunately that is not the case. The app just crashes too often to be useful on iPhone. As an example, I have photos of a bottle that has none in the db and wanted to upload them. I opened the app, searched by Whiskybase ID number, selected the bottle and the app crashed. I tried it again and it crashed again. Tried closing the app and restarting it with no change. I am on the most recent version. I can only conclude that the developers do not test adequately on iPhone and that Whiskybase doesn’t care about iPhone users. Sad.

Nach jedem Update treten mehr Probleme auf. Die eigene Sammlung kann nicht mehr gefiltert werden.
Ich habe das Gefühl man ist nur nich darauf aus, daß man man bei der Base ein Abo abschließt

I wanna love it

I want to love this app but I can’t even login because the iPhone 16 Pro keyboard covers the “login” button at the bottom of the sign in screen. I can enter my username and password, and I know there’s a sign in button but it’s covered by the keyboard. I hit the “return” button on the keyboard to no avail. I can login on the web so my credentials are good. So sad as this database has such promise. #FAIL

Ausbaufähig

Whiskybase ist eine Klasse Platzform. Der Unfang der App istnjedoch sehr begrenzt. Ich nutze sie zum verwalten meiner Sammlung und um sie immer dabei zu haben.

Auch wenn es banal klingt aber ich würde mich sehr über einen Darkmode freuen! Die App ist sehr sehr hell gestaltet!

Jedesmal neu anmelden

Habe die App gerade erst entdeckt, habe bisher immer die Webversion genutzt. Bisher habe ich keine großen Probleme. Was aber wirklich nervt, dass man sich jedesmal beim Aufrufen der App mit Passwort neu anmelden muss.

Missing basic basic features

1. It never remembers my log in. Why can’t it do that?

2. No share feature. Everything has a share button now. I should be able to find a bottle I like and want to share with my friends, click a share button and it sends a link to it via email, text, etc. This can’t do that at all.

3. It is difficult to find my collection. When I do find it, you can’t add new bottles from there.

Basically this feels like they had an intern make an app as a summer project.

iOS stürzt ständig ab

Nach den letzten Updates funktioniert fast nix mehr. Beim zufügen von Flaschen stürzt die App ab, die eigene Sammlung lädt nicht mehr. Hier muss unbedingt nachgebessert werden

Liste hört bei „T“ einfach auf

App nicht mehr zu gebrauchen. Auswahl der Listen geht nicht und die gesamte Liste hört bei „T“ einfach auf.

Lots of potential and crashes

I am trying to find a good app to manage my whisky bottles. I like the website, and like that the app potential syncs with it, but i can’t get it to not crash any time i try to adjust the currency or other settings.
