It is created on your devices and never sent to us. Everything you send is locked with that key before it leaves your phone, and only your person's phone can open it. What passes through our servers is a sealed package we have no way to read. Once a message is seen, it disappears from our servers. NO PHONE NUMBER, NO CONTACTS Whisper never asks for your phone number and never touches your contacts. Only the people you share your invite link or code with can pair with you.
