Not easy to navigate
I can appreciate giving this app time to learn my preferences, but it didn't give me ANYTHING to work with the first 6 stories. I want to search by category, I cancelled THEN found the categories. So far am disappointed.
Totally deceptive SCAM
DO NOT GET THIS! I had no idea there was any kind of subscription started - yet I was quietly charged 40 $USD a month for several months until I noticed on my statement. No renewal notices. No receipts. NO indication of charges. In fact, I didn’t even know where to find it. It wasn’t an app on my phone and was nearly impossible to locate. I’m making a complaint to the BBB. Hope others do the same. This is false advertising at its finest!

Very Disappointing and Misleading Subscription
I signed up for Whisper Stories believing I was purchasing a one-month membership. I was not aware that the subscription would continue or that I would be charged additional fees, and I did not authorize those recurring charges.
When I contacted customer support, I was told that my membership had been cancelled and that I would not be charged again. However, when I requested a refund for the membership I did not authorize or use, I received no response.
The support experience has been extremely frustrating, and the responses I received felt generic and unhelpful. The way the subscription is presented can be misleading, and customers should be very careful to understand exactly what they are signing up for before providing payment information.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend Whisper Stories and believe the App Store should take a closer look at how this subscription is marketed and disclosed to customers.

Taking money illegally!
I tried to cancel and was given the option to upgrade for a year at a small price so took that. Only now they’re still taking money from me monthly! Have contacted support and heard nothing so will have to raise a dispute with my credit card now. AVOID!
Scam
Just like everyone else states - don’t waste your time or your money. Their marketing is better than the overpriced mediocre at best content. Listened for barely an hour at most because the voice actors and stories were so terrible. A free audiobook through the library is a thousand times better than what this company is producing. Signed up under the understanding that it was for a single month of use and was charged double the price the following month. I immediately cancelled and emailed customer support with no response. Followed up again and was told “sorry” a refund was not possible. Bad business model and a sure way to lose customers.

Not worth it
I could not find a voice that suited me and all the stories I listened to sounded more like grooming than actual fantasies. I request a refund and followed all the steps to get a refund but they told me they would only cancel the membership. I submitted everything they needed ( proof I had listened for 7 days in a row) days before the 30 day was up. Just don’t do it. I’m sure there are better services out there.

Garbage App
Garbage app. Not personalized as advertised. Hard to filter and minimal generic stories. The ones posted on social media after you take the quiz are not even available. Complete scam and waste of money. I’d give it negative stars if I could.

Don’t sign up for this app, it does not have any of the stuff in it that they advertise, is never updated and then when you have only requested a intro membership - with no further costs they charge you anyways. I am now battling to get a refund for the app that I have never been able to use.

Really underwhelming app
From the trial/app teaser I thought this would be a fun app. After I paid for the 3 month subscription I realized what a disappointment this is. Most importantly the app is impossible to navigate. You can’t really filter to find what you’re looking for…. There’s no overall catalogue or way to get to, say “a really spicy sub story” without just bumbling around. Sign up for Galatea instead.

Fail
I downloaded it for a day. I turned in a ticket and asked for a refund because it wasn’t as I expected. NO RESPONSE.Just an auto generated reply saying they gave it a ticket # and would hear back in 24-48 hours. Well it’s been a month! Terrible customer service! I was sure I’d signed up with the link that was try for 30 days or be refunded.

Do Not Buy!!
If I could leave it zero stars I would. Is not what is advertised, complete waste of money. I figured I’d try even though most of the reviews weren’t good, DON’T do it! Lesson learned and money down the drain for me; hopefully this helps someone else.

Deceiving
Gives you a quiz making you think there’ll be a wide selection and there are only boring stories. Also a bunch of tags that don’t work. That’s why they don’t give you a free trial, it’s terrible

There isn’t any stories like the ads promised. It is just British style romances. No werewolves, Vikings, fantasy.
False Advertising
I found this app from some adds on instagram. I was promised over 4,000 mlm stories. I pay the subscription cost and open the app. 0 mlm stories. From what I can tell there are around 100 total stories that are all very poorly written, acted, and voiced. This is a scam don’t download.
Dishonest App
At the beginning the app asks what your gender and preferences are. It made it seem like there were more stories regarding gay couples in it but everything in it is purely straight stories. I’m stuck either way a subscription that I never used as I was duped into thinking I had representation in the app. I will be asking my bank to block payment. Shame on Whisper
