About
Always within reach. No internet. Any headphones.
No button to press. Just put in your headphones and talk.
Whispr is the only walkie-talkie app built specifically for headphones — and the only one where you never need to press a button to speak.
Share a 9-digit code, scan a QR, or send a link. The moment they join, your voices go through — automatically, hands-free, in real time.
WHISPR CORE (FREE)
• No button to press — voice activates automatically
• Talk up to 200 meters away with no internet at all — it works when signal-dependent apps fail
• Or talk across any distance in the world over the internet — unmetered during early access; a monthly allowance starts with billing
• Video calls — turn your camera on mid-call, 1:1
• Works with any headphones (AirPods, Galaxy Buds, and more)
• Pair in seconds with a 9-digit code, a QR scan, or a shared link
• Music and podcasts duck instead of stopping — nothing gets lost behind them
• Lock your phone and keep talking on worldwide calls; Pocket Mode darkens the screen for offline ones
WHISPR+ (FREE FOR EVERYONE DURING EARLY ACCESS)
• Unlimited Cloud Mode time — no monthly allowance
• Group sessions — 3 to 5 people in one conversation
• Group video for up to 3, in a tiled grid

What's New in Whispr
1.2.4
August 23, 2026
Calls now recover on their own. If your connection drops for a moment, Whispr reconnects you in seconds instead of ending the call. Calls also close cleanly when a partner leaves, and your history shows accurate times. In video calls, your preview no longer hides behind the buttons — drag it to any corner, one-to-one or in a group. Buttons across the app are a consistent size and easier to tap. We also fixed a rare crash shortly after opening Whispr. Thank you for using Whispr!
