Bug fix and performance improvement.

User reviews

Whist

Cards too small. Game ends before you know the score. Trumps don’t always appear.

Pop ads are there.

There are pop ads. It was difficult for me to see the cards. I deleted it because in the description it said no pop up ads.

Difficult to read numbers and suits

The numbers and suit at top of cards are very small
And the center where the suit is , it is too big and distracting. Hard to concentrate on what is being played

Unnatural play

The gameplay isn’t natural. Often your partner is caught throwing away aces, then loans behold, your opponents win the next trick with a king. Doesn’t make any sense.

Bad app

No way to choose trump suit. Doesn’t indicate who the dealer is. Poor AI logic.

All around poor game and wouldn’t even use it to wipe.

What is Whist?

Whist is a classic plain-trick card game played by four players in two fixed partnerships. The objective is to win tricks, with points awarded for each trick won in excess of six. The first partnership to reach seven points wins the game.

How do you play Whist?

Players must follow suit if possible when a card is led. If unable to follow suit, any card can be played. The trick is won by the highest trump or, if no trump is played, by the highest card of the suit led. The winner of a trick leads to the next.

Is this app free to play?

Yes, this app is 100% free to play. It offers a best user experience without any pop-up or full-screen advertisements, ensuring uninterrupted gameplay.

What are the rules for scoring in Whist?

The side that wins more tricks scores 1 point for each trick they won in excess of six. The partnership that first reaches a total of 7 points wins the game. This scoring system encourages strategic play to secure trick wins.

What devices is this Whist game compatible with?

While the description doesn't specify exact compatibility, this is a mobile application, implying it is designed for smartphones and tablets running common mobile operating systems like iOS or Android.
