Whittler is a relaxing simulation game where you use a knife to carve blunt sticks into sharp points. You earn points for creating precise points and can unlock different knives with unique handling characteristics.
You spin the stick by swiping left and right and control the knife by swiping up and down to cut. Swipe up to cut into the stick and finish a cut at the top. Swipe down to cancel a cut. The goal is to create a pointy enough stick to earn a point.
You earn points by whittling a stick to a precise point. When the stick's point is centered and steep enough, a green checkmark will appear. Holding this checkmark adds a point to your score and gives you a fresh stick.
New knives can be unlocked by earning points. Once you have earned enough points, indicated next to the locked knife, you can hold down the lock to unlock it. Each subsequent unlock requires more points.
