Rarity comes from how underground the artist actually is: Common down to Legendary, based on global listener counts. Rarer catches are worth more XP, and XP moves you up the collector ranks from Rookie to Legend.

Your Dex now plays itself. Tap Play and the tracks your friends are listening to come at you one at a time, full screen, already playing. Listen for a few seconds and the card is yours — it turns from grey to colour and keeps its number forever. Swipe up for the next one. No buttons, no waiting. Your Last.fm friends' music becomes a numbered wall you fill in by listening. Rarer artists are worth more XP and move you up the collector ranks. Three new cards drop every day, with a bonus for catching them the day they land. No account needed. Your collection is saved to your Last.fm username and follows you between devices.
