Broken app
This app is so bad. We can’t even contact customer service through this app. It prompts us to start a chat with customer service by typing in our name & email address, and then when we finish doing that, it just gives us a blank white screen. No chat begins, no customer service rep comes online, nothing happens at all.

Checkout errors
EBT page to checkout and enter pin does not load, preventing checkout.
If there is any error during checkout, order is declined and cart is cleared automatically. This requires to start order from beginning again. Extremely frustrating.
Online customer service chat was not helpful as this is a technical issue in WHole Foods App. Did not expect to have this fixed for my order but rep should have submitted a ticket to technical team to fix in app.

No shopping list?
This new version apparently got rid of the shopping list. Why?? It was one of the few parts of the app that was actually useful. Before, I could use the app to look for sales, check my list, and pay. Now I need to keep a list separate from the app. In fact nothing about this update seems like an improvement

The latest version takes away an important function
I used be able to make a shopping list, now it appears that the “list” function is gone, instead I had to add the items I want into a “cart”, even had to specify the weight unit I want (for delivery?!) But I don’t plan to order a delivery, I just want to make a shopping list.

It all began when I needed to exercise an essential function of the modern world, grocery shop. In the old days, I’d create a grocery list on the Notes app like a neanderthal until the Whole Foods app changed everything. It came equipped with a sleek shopping list, capable of automagically categorizing items by their type. As a result, the efficiency of my shopping runs increased tenfold as I only need to visit each section of the grocery store once and only once. Now the featured has been gutted and the entire app has been vibe coded into oblivion. I would like to voice my dissent towards this betrayal of the common shopper. We demand the shopping list back!

Missing Basic Information
You can only pull up basic store information certain times of the day. For example, right now it is 8:30pm and it tells me what time the store closes (9pm). But I want to know what time the store opens in the morning so I can stop on my way to an event. I guess I have to wait until after 9pm when the store closes to tell me that information. Not an app for people who like to plan.

Updated app is a disappointment
The new app deleted the “List” feature which was SO USEFUL for in-store shopping. It allowed me to create a list and check it off as I shopped. Also it allowed me to easily see sale items and add them to my list. PLEASE BRING THE LIST FEATURE BACK! The new app caters to online ordering shoppers and there are A LOT of us still shopping in the store!

Unbelievable
I didn’t think they could screw this app up more than it already was. Boy was I wrong. It’s almost impossible to search for something. It keeps coming up saying that they don’t have it. And I know they do. By trying to force users to order online they’ve made it useless. I like to shop the sales before I drive to the store. I can’t even tell which items are in the Reno store.

No grocery list option
Prior to this update I used this app all the time. Now there is no option to make a list. I don’t do delivery or pick up. But I did go in the store to shop. On this version I can see what’s on sale but I can’t add it to a list ahead of time so that when I go in the store I can just pull up my list on the app. 👎🏻 I’m not going to toggle between 2 apps to make a list so I don’t think I’ll be shopping there very often.

Bad update
Who approved of an update that would make a grocery app both less useful and more difficult to navigate? Why take away the grocery list? Why take away the ability to group sales by sub-categories? Who thought it was a good idea to utilize only half the phone screen when clicking on some links? Bring back the previous simple version so we can actually use it.

version 14.0.1 is garbage
User interface is horrible, there is no way to view sales, sort buy category, and filter. When viewing product specials you have to drill down into categories and when trying to back out by one level is impossible, it takes you back to the start so you have to start all over again. When you click "see all" the entire top half of the screen is unusable, the products only appear in 50% of the screen one row at a time unfiltered. Whoever built this app has no clue about how people see it and use it. Please let me know when it changes and fire the team that created it.

This update sucks. I just want my list. That’s all. Just my checklist. I don’t want to have to go to a different app and follow 3 steps just to see the list I’ve used for years.
Shopping List
I’m so disappointed that you took the shopping list away. My family and I added everything we needed and it was right there. Now everything gets added to the cart. Not nearly as convenient :(
Update is worse
Amazon ruined the one feature I used which was the shopping list connected to my Alexa. Absolutely an own goal.

They removed the most useful feature
The shopping list was the only good part of this app and they removed it. This thing is useless now.
Was great now sucks
I’m unclear why they had to ruin a good thing. The old app had everything at your fingertips. Open the app there’s your code. Want to see what meats on sale 3 clicks. Now, 2 clicks to get to your code, 5 minutes to find the meat sales. Pretty useless.

This app sucked before, but now I can’t access my shopping lists. This is indicative of who is running this horrible company.
Terrible update
The update removed ability to search for an item and add it to the shopping list. The list is no longer in the app as well as getting the aisle number. Totally useless for me now. All it’s good for is to scan the prime member status.
Who redesigned it?
The latest version of is useless and poorly designed. Who on earth made a simple & easy to read sales flyer into complete chaos? I could just as easily use the Amazon WF app I already have to avoid this ridiculous issue.
