Needs Improvement
The new app has some major ways it can be improved. I like to shop in person and in the old app I used the checklist feature while shopping. This feature no longer exists and there’s far too much lag when I delete items in my cart to realistically use the cart itself as my checklist.
Secondly, the app will not show you products that are out of stock when searching. I wish it did at least show you the store carries the item you’re looking for but that it’s out of stock. That would be a huge help because my store is frequently out of stock of many items but will be restocked by the time I get around to my shopping trip.
Lastly, when searching an item, there will be suggestions that you can click before you finish typing. These only work half the time.
Essentially, my main issues with the new app are that it is designed entirely around pickup orders and is not friendly for shoppers who prefer to shop in person (and there are many of us).

Good but could use a tuneup
Couple things. The iPad app doesn’t allow you to order delivery so I have to switch over to my phone. Once I find all the things I want to order. Second, there’s no option to save items like a favorites section.
The worst app ever
Have to switch back and forth between Whole Foods app and amazon. It keeps saying i live in Texas, i put in my zip code over and over,I live in Sonoma CA! Fix your bad app.

Search doesnt work
No matter what you put in the search bar, it tells you they have no results. No food whatsoever at the store. Useless.
Whole Foods is great.
The food is fresh. It is packed with care—installed bags!! Impressive. I didn’t have to pay for delivery, which saved money and it indicated Whole Foods care about customer satisfaction. Thank you.
Bring shopping list back!!
I shop at Whole Foods regularly and like to go in person often. I keep my shopping list in the app which was very convenient. With the update they got rid of this feature.

Difficult to order
Meat and Produce can only be ordered by weight - not 4 russet potatoes, only 2 lbs. same with steaks and chicken.

Pick up location error
The app has been glitchy over the last 2 weeks. The most recent issue is around grocery pick up location. You could chose a regular pick up location early in the order process and then magically when you go to submit the order the pick up location changed to Nashville, TN, Spoiler - I live no where near TN.

Horrible
Your new app sucks. Tried to delivery my food to some place in Texas I’ve never entered into my account. Seriously. Wtf. Also like half my items in my cart just didn’t show up in my final purchase.

Personally, I am very happy and thankful with the features of Whole Foods app.
Something changed
It was fine and worked well. Now I can’t get anything to work. Figured it was a bug they would fix but it’s been a month.
The update sucks
The recent update is not as user friendly. And it’s not clear why some items just don’t even appear in my cart when I check out.
Hard to set delivery
Confusing how to set delivery Could be made much easier. Check out other grocery apps for easier deliveries.
Poor UI comparatively
App is basic and oftentimes can’t remember a selection or doesn’t tell you when stock is low, reverts back to diff store…it’s about the most frustrating experience given how big and complex

No more shopping list?
Why in the world they took away the shopping list feature when they updated the app is beyond me. It was such an easy way to keep an ongoing shopping list between me and my partner. We only use the app to scan our Prime code now.
Needs help
App and website needs to be fixed. Can’t search things, won’t let you set for stores in different towns. Freezes up consistently. Sends my pick up to other stores.
