Migrant Education Program Conference
Whova as virtual agenda app for this year’s conference: This app was literally like having the agenda at your fingertips- the ability to access the speakers & workshop details was a plus in addition to contacting any other attendees or presenters/organizations w/questions prior to the conference dates! Whova app was tangibly navigational & visually appealing! The ability to go in & select your workshops - the app created your personal agenda, made it an enjoyable process to select and/or change workshops sans being concerned about adversely impacting the presenters or coordinators- as the # of attendees was shown on each workshop.
I don’t know what the overhead costs were, but as an attendee- the overall presentation of the Whova app was a really efficient way of registering & staying connected pre and post conference! I hope that the cost of the app itself was cost effective! Thank you for providing such an excellent resource to us as attendees! I hope this app served as a beneficial platform for the speakers & presenters as well! Thank you to all the intentional work that went into creating this experience! 🥳

KCHRS 2026 using Whova app; I have been attending not only the 2026 KCHRS, but have for several years now using The Whova app. I have also attended many other events using the Whova app & in my opinion, it makes it very easy to keep my CEU’s organized, take my required tests to obtain said CEU’s, remain in communication w/ event organizers who need to send me updates regarding when reviews & tests are available & other information has been posted. The Whova app is also great about posting & offering opportunities for me to host an event, should I be interested! There are tons of OTHER events on the Whova app available for us to be a part of as well, that we may not have originally considered or known about that turn out to be really fun &/or really informative. They are wonderful networking opportunities & the app is really simple to use. I highly recommend downloading & giving it a quick look. You will not regret it! It’s very enlightening - what do you have to lose, right?

Amazing app!! Super user friendly, jam packed with information, great way to connect and interact. Wish there wasn’t a daily limit on messaging people.
Annoying
This app has lots of annoying features that apparently cannot be removed by conference organisers like stupid break the ice questions, recommdinh other irrelevant events, irrelevant notifications, etc. Also autoplay of videos is a problem and photos cannot be viewed in horizontal mode on iphones.

Great tool for connecting and learning
I was successful at meeting people through Whova app messages, at scheduling my conference days and appreciate the ability to save posts to my own chart for later use. Scrolling through the on line in app conversations gave me lots of ideas that I found saved in MyChart and then could draw these together while resting from the conference. Only down side is that the app will continue functionality for limited time after the meeting.

This app is so resourceful to use. I love how I can connect and reconnect with attendees of the conference. I can switch from conference to conference. I can star contacts swap information. I plan to refer all of my conference friends

Works well enough for a conference app. Not sure why I’m getting marketing messages from the app provider itself. I’m here for a conference, not to buy a conference app.
