Great app that handles everything
I’ve used the Whova app for the last couple of years at one particular conference and it seems to get better and better. It’s a great info resource for event information as well as an awesome resource for connecting with other attendees and/or planning personal meet ups. Not only that, but being a one stop repository saved tons of time and frustration. I wish every conference I attend used the Whova app!

The Whova app made attending the conference easy and organized. I could quickly view the agenda, receive important announcements, connect with other attendees, and keep track of the sessions I wanted to attend. Everything I needed was conveniently available in one place. It was user-friendly and helped me have a smooth and enjoyable conference experience.

Whova was used at a conference I recently attended. The app was very easy to use and allowed me to access all the information I needed. It also was great for networking and getting clarification on event details from the organizers.

I thought the app was easy to use. All needed information was at my fingertips. It made navigating the SHRM conference and the added events so easy! Highly recommend it for your event!
300 hoops to jump through to “join” events
I have fought with this for nearly 40 minutes now, and I cannot get access to the event I have a ticket for; the app won’t let me "join" the event because I never received an invitation code; I cannot edit my registration info to link to a different email even though I signed up less than an hour ago; the desktop version doesn’t work because it insists you use the app; and every time I refresh the page, I’m required to input YET ANOTHER 2FA code. I consider myself a highly tech-savvy person, and every time a conference/convention wants to use this app, I end up wanting to throw my phone out the window. It gets worse every year.

Somewhat annoying
Whova has all the important information but there’s just a ton of extraneous, social media, networking, etc. which can be annoying when it bombard you with messages. Also, it lacks the capability to check off individual talks on your agenda, making it hard to go from session to session.
