Really Good, but Not Without Critique

I downloaded this app because I wanted to learn the language of the Natives who lived in my area, and it’s honestly just amazing. The phonetic system is concise and easy to use, and the flash cards are amazing resources to kickstart learning the language.

As for the critiques, the amount of vocabulary — 392 words and phrases — is a bit lacking. Most actions, concepts, and descriptors are absent, as well as quite a few nouns. I do understand that the last native speaker died in 2016, but I’m sure there are more words that have been recorded than just ~392.
Another thing that’s entirely absent is teaching the grammatical system of Wichita, which is essential to becoming fluent in it. Even Wikipedia has more information about Wichita’s grammar than this app does, even though the app was made by the Wichita Nation.

All said, I do believe that this app is amazing, especially since Wichita is a language being revitalized and with very few to no speakers. (The Wichita Nation already has better language services non-American Indians than the Comanche Nation). I’d also like to thank the developers for making this app and making it free to the public. Thank you.
