Unmaintained and unplayable game
Looking at the preview, everything seems smooth and you feel like you are going to explore a world of mysteries and dangers. But when you jump into the game, right from the intro cutscene, you realise that the end result is a mess. Objects have weird collisions, animals walk into walls, the camera is wonky and the controls are terribly put without any way to tweak them. On top of that, you do not understand what you are doing or what’s the point of the game at all. Sad that the dev doesn’t seem to care about this game anymore as it is nearly unplayable in the current state.

This looks absolutely superb and I can’t wait to play it…
…but unfortunately, on my iPhone 12 mini, the onscreen controls don’t appear and I can only move the camera.
I am going to buy an iPhone games controller specifically for this as it looks superb.
I’m actually trying it out as your other game is about to drop and it looks just my cup of tea so I’m doing this while I wait for it to land!

Too hard with no idea what to do or where to go! You have a bow and arrow the enemy is giant rocket launching robots!

The biggest disappoint on the App Store
This is one of the only games when I looked at it and there was so much potential. I was actually excited and preordered it. But ultimately it ran poorly and I thought maybe with a few improvements to the game it would be great, but here we are and the app developer did nothing and abandoned it. Ultimately another sad story on the App Store of a failed hit and run smartphone game.

Thanks for the review. A improved tutorial is needed and is in the works. Health bar is a nice suggestion. Will look into the performance. Perhaps try lowering/turning off the settings in the pause or main menu. This will increase performance and reduce battery drain.
Not overly challenging
I’ve been on the fence about buying this one for awhile because of the overwhelming number of reviews saying it’s impossibly cryptic. Here to confirm it’s easily picked up. if you’re interested it’s def worth the $.

Paid £2.99. Downloaded on iPad Pro. Can’t seem to play game without a controller!! Very frustrating. What’s going on guys? In the screen shots it looks like you should have on screen controls but I can’t find any setting for that in the game!!
No direction
I played this game a couple months ago, and I enjoyed the beauty of the game along with the storyline. The gameplay is a whole other topic, because there is no direction with what kind of game this is... it’s adventure, survival, and puzzle at the same time which is interesting, but it makes the game so complicated. I deleted it because I couldn’t figure out what the purpose of the game was; or what I was supposed to do. I see a lot of potential for this game after a few changes with the game mechanics and easier gameplay, I may try this game again, and I think more people would enjoy it as well.

Terrible! Waste of money
Clearly one of those developers who thought that as long as you have amazing graphics, the game in general will be good no matter what. Well, I hope he learned his lesson. The game is too complicated, has unnatural character movements, a terrible AI, laggy controls, and worst of all: it doesn’t even save your progress.
Don’t let those console quality graphics fool you. The game is a mess. Stay away from it as far as possible, and go spend your money on better games.

Give it time! Most underrated game of 2019.
The game may appear difficult at the beginning, but keep playing through. I was a little frustrated at the start, but honestly I’m GLAD I hung in there! As the story progressed, it actually got really good. Rewarding experience if you stick with it.

EDIT: I’m starting to figure out the mechanics of the game, and have gotten past the first couple “levels”. In each level you explore around trying to find these diamond looking things with your annoyingly hungry son, while trying to survive/escape the robot alien things along with an assortment of animals. I hope this helps clarify how to play this game.

I WANT to like this game, and I think it has tons of potential for iOS, but the developers just need to fix the controls and add a little tutorial for a clear understanding. Beautiful but flawed
I preordered this game and was really excited to try it out. The graphics did not disappoint at all. It is truly a stunning game. My main issue with the game is the fact that your son needing fed will send you back to the beginning of the level. There is already so much going on that adding a time limit makes the game too frustrating to be fun. I like the concept of having to take care of your son and it makes you care about the characters more, however I feel like you should be able to carry food with you and feed your son along the way without having to stop and hunt a deer every ten minutes just to be able to progress. Like many other reviewers I really wanted to like the game and was drawn in by how beautiful it is but stopped playing after a few hours just because I didn’t want to have to feed my son so often.

Mildly disappointing
I’d love to say it’s good but I can’t... tutorial is insanely short and doesn’t tell you much at all, I felt lost and confused at first, and even after I played a little and got the hang of the game it wasn’t fun nor entertaining.. I’d suggest putting some more effort into the game, or at least the tutorial, if you’re going to put it on the App Store and make people pay currency for it.

What a cluster
So there may be something fun in this game, but the fact that any time I get close to figuring something out, my kid starts whimpering and then it shoots me back a level or 2 is the absolute most frustrating thing I have ever experienced in a game. Maybe give us a little info as to what’s going on so this can try to be fun. Bought this for a long flight to Asia and wanted to throw my iPad out the plane. a month of Apple Arcade or this? Ha! Has potential...
For a game with a price tag, it sure comes with a lot of kinks. For instance the level 0, or the base platform whatever, after a while all of the predators kill the deer and no matter how fast you try to complete level 1 over and over again, you still run out of food and sleep before you can find a tent. The story seems interesting, I really hope I haven’t wasted my money...

No instruction. 3 minutes to start the game. EVERY TIME !!I have no idea what to do and don’t want to review 10 hours of YouTube to figure it out. All I see is a guy with a cape on a rock. No controls how to work this. No tutorial. Don’t wast your money. Tired of startup screen every time I want to play.

Needs a lot of work
For being a $5 game there are far too many problems. It looked interesting but once you launch the game some things become clear. This game destroys your battery within 30 minutes. The “tutorial” is poorly designed you have to figure out how to do things by yourself. The controls are very bad and all of the AI is badly designed. In the first level enemies which can one shot you see you from very far away on a very small island and they can shoot through anything and all of the things you need to get to in able to progress are within range of them. The attacking is bad. Looking around and moving needs to be improved. It looks like it could be a really cool game but upon launch so much is wrong with it i don't hold out much hope.

I really looked forward to buying this game. I know the developer works a full time job and worked on this title for 3 or 4 years and I can certainly appreciate his efforts. However he should of worked or has beta tester test the game to explain that their is NOT. A smooth tutorial and no sense of what the objective of the game is. Our attention spans get less and less when not dealing with a polished title. Lastly you should start with not all the buttons on the screen or abilities and gain them throughout the tutorial or game. Also the opening monologue makes no sense and implies nonsense rather than a hook. Thanks

Looks amazing but...
Wow, this game looks incredible! It looks super interesting and its clear a lot of time and thought and skill went in to making it, and I really want to enjoy it but...

The robots insta-kill you before you can reach the first staircase, you constantly run out of food and I kill a deer and then a bear comes along and takes it and then magnet-hovers around you so you cant move...just such high difficulty the game doesnt let you get used to what its about and what to do because every single thing wipes you out. Seriously trying to get a foothold and have some fun but the game just wont let it happen.
