Try *before* you buy…?
So…I downloaded the app and tried to give it a shot, just to see if it was worth purchasing.
Unfortunately, and perhaps unsurprisingly, the app allows you to do nothing other than: Connect to local Wi-Fi > Run “Scan” > Results hidden > User is prompted to purchase 1/3 paid levels to continue.
IOW: nothing to see here, until/unless you pay up.
Fair enough. Except herein lies the reason for the common practice and widespread usage of the…
**Free Trial**
As far as I can tell, I have no way to test the functionality of this app w/o forking over cash. I am not interested in spending that $10 (give or take) and then potentially arguing about a refund later—if/when it doesn’t work as advertised. Hence, for a successful app free trial [that results in a purchase and a new/happy customer] the sequence usually goes *something* like:

Takeaway: Unless I’m missing something (if so, mea culpa), there isn’t a way to reasonably test functionality w/o pulling the subscription trigger first, and asking questions later… So, I will move along.

Bait and switch, can’t use the app if you don’t sign up for the very expensive plan. Why not disclose your terms upfront?
