About
WiFi Finder Pro turns the Wi-Fi sign on the café counter into a connection. Point the camera at the sign, tap the network name and the password, and your iPhone joins.
SCAN A SIGN
• Reads Wi-Fi details from table signs, receipts, hotel key-card sleeves and Wi-Fi QR codes.
• Tap the words on the sign to fill in the network and the password. A QR code fills in both at once.
• No camera handy? Pick a photo of the sign or type the details in.
JOIN, AND KNOW IT WORKED
• iPhone asks to join, then WiFi Finder Pro checks that you are really on that network before it says so.
• If the join doesn't go through, you see the likely reasons and can fix the details or try again.
KEEP YOUR NETWORKS AS TAGS
• Every network you save hangs on your keyring as a tag, grouped by city.
• Passwords stay in this iPhone's Keychain. Add the place, a note, and whether there are outlets or it's quiet.
• Set a stay for hotel Wi-Fi: iPhone forgets the network after check-out day, and the tag moves to Checked out.
CHECK THE CONNECTION
• Each check leaves a stamp with the time it was measured: sign-in page, response time, security and link.
• Measure download and upload speed when you want to, and compare with the last time.
• If a hotel or airport sign-in page is in the way, open it in one tap and check again.
FIND WI-FI AROUND YOU
• More than 440,000 places worldwide with internet access listed on OpenStreetMap: cafés, libraries, hotels, stations and more.
• See which are free for everyone, for guests or with a fee, and when the listing was last checked.
• Search by name or chain, see the walking route, and open directions in Maps.
• Public toilets and ATMs on the same map, more than 890,000 of them, with wheelchair access where it is listed.
• The places are stored on your iPhone, so the list of nearest spots works without a connection.
SHARE WITH GUESTS
• Show a big QR code that iPhone and Android cameras can join from.
• Make a printable table card for your network, with or without the password, and print it, AirDrop it or save it to Files.
