Doesnt work
I installed the app as my remote is missing i tried connecting to my tv and it actually connected pretty quickly however the buttons did not work at all i tried testing all the buttons incase some just didnt work but turns out they just dont do what i want it to would be amazing if it was fixed though

So, I just happened to start trying to find a free tv remote app and this one has no pop ups, no ads and it’s free! install it now! (Real person review on 12th may 2026)

This app works well with a number of TV’s, have tested on TV’s of different brands and it connected to all of them with no issues. There is a permanent ad at the bottom of screen but it’s minor, considering this app is free, yes no subscription or a fee to remove the ad. It is definitely worth trying out

Set up is a little weird you have to goto your tv Wi-Fi settings mine info was under WiFi advanced settings to get the ip address and name but all works great and it’s actually free

If you turn the tv off with this remote. You’ll never turn it on again with this remote. Completely useless.

Unfortunately, your app doesn’t work. Wouldn’t find the TV via wifi and added manually with two different profiles using both HiSense and Fire TV as the type. Both show connection but control nothing. This app doesn’t initiate the verification process needed with smart TVs . Other apps that I’ve tried that successfully paired use a verification code that pops on the screen. Doesn’t really seem to be a remote app that just provides basic controls for free and works.
