Paid $9+ For an app that doesn’t load!
This is the very first paid or unpaid app I have downloaded that just doesn’t work. I had a previous version for my iPad that was free and worked fine. I can’t figure out how to get my money back. Maybe I’ll contact my credit card company. Sadly only read reviews after I bought program and I see no’s some others wrote about ‘difficulty’ loading. Shame on the developers!

No longer works. Used to be excellent.
When you launch this app it just displays a page that says “language settings” with no other text or controls. The app hasn’t been updated in several years, so unfortunately this app can not be recommended. Apple should remove it from the store.

Paid for this app and it doesn’t do anything but open to a language page with no options. Try to contact app developer but like is dead.
Does NOT WORK anymore
I do not recommend purchasing this app in its current state, I bought this application awhile ago and it worked amazing. However, currently this app does not work. The application will get stuck on the choose language section and does not show any languages for me to choose. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app to no avail. Will update rating if creator ever update and fix this issue so I can use the application again.

I have iOS 12. When I downloaded the app it opened a language selection screen with no options or buttons on the screen. Tried to redownload and same thing happened.

I bought it twice, for two languages. It does not work at all on recent iOS, just hangs.

Need update
I feel like developers died or something. Can not explain why they never update their app anymore. Cannot even download any language now. Pity cause I paid money and find this app very useful for traveling and life
Was great till they stopped updating it
This app used to be great, especially if you didn't have an Internet connection. You could carry around all of Wikipedia even in areas with no wireless service. If you still have a copy of the database, the app still works, but last I checked, they haven't updated the database in several years, and you can't download it from Avocado Hills anymore.

Doesn’t work
I got this recently and the language screen is blank. I owned the old version, which also doesn’t work with the new iOS 12.

Does not work
Gets stuck when first running at the language settings. I have an iPad Pro 2 running iOS 12.1.2. It also does not work on an iPhone XS Max. I will be requesting a refund. This app should be removed from the App Store until fixed.
It doesn’t work anymore
End of review, I guess. I used to enjoy the app, but when installing it on my iPhone X it won’t load the language database. I purchased the new version, but it does the same - so I’ll be requesting a refund stat. Stay away from it!
Waste of ten bucks

I had the early version, which was great. Uninstalled the old and purchased take 2. It does not work, and the support page is not available.

I bought the app (both of them) 2 different versions and both don’t work. I will figure how to get the refund for the $9.99 that I paid. The app doesn’t work.

This app used to be flawed but useful, but now it doesn’t work at all (it seems the server hosting the download is down, and has been down for months)... so it’s not clear why this should be up for sale anymore.
