Great app for finding historical stuff
I recently used wikitude at an old town in the mountains of North Carolina and the app did a great job in showing me the locations of some great sites. I couldn't recommend this app enough , especially if you are in another country where it may be hard to find good historical areas using just a local map.

Having an issue with the search feature
I am a student with PivotPoint. My classmates have the app and seem to have no trouble searching for that, but when I search anything, it does nothing. I have checked the permissions and all of it seems fine. My iOS version is 9.3.2. Any help with this would be appreciated.
Won't connect
I got this to work once then the next time kept telling me I had no internet connection . There was no issue connecting to the web with any other app but this one.
Nice idea…but
I live in a suburban area outside of St. Louis. NOTHING registers in the natural environment either here or in downtown St. Louis. The “magic” view of magazines is extremely rare. While I like the concept very much, this technology seems to have fallen by the wayside.
An idea
If you could add a way that I could view the app in stereoscopic 3D and this would be perfect and actually something I have dreamed about for years.
Great for Cities
What makes Wikitude unique is the way it represents the information to the user, and quite possibly could be to the future of GPS interfaces. The interface on this app allows for figuring out directions and orientations when in a big city far easier than that of a traditional GPS, which can oftentimes be slightly misleading. Simply holding up your device like a camera and looking at the screen, Wikitude can place the locations, events, etc. of your query in their respective places on the screen. If you're unimpressed with what's over there, simply spin a little to the side and keep looking! Of course it will work in smaller towns, as it seems to get a lot of its information Google places, but the more information to work with the better.
There are a few usability issues, especially within the user interface for browsing the options of a search (but recently they have been making drastic updates to this). Also, the search function should be updated to allow for more refined queries and allow selection of the databases you wish to pull information from.
This app has a lot of potential and is, in my opinion, a fantastic tool to have on a bustling city street.

No purpose
I'm not sure what you would use this for. If you wanted to go to one of these places you would just gps it. Also, the places in it are outdated and few.
Amazing!
The update made it kind of more difficult to navigate through but this app is something out of films brought to life. I love it!

Still can't log in to Facebook... This app is getting deleted soon if the problem doesn't get fixed.

Haven't tried it walking around yet, but just messing with it in my apartment has been awesome. Great app.
Works ok
I'm in dc and it doesn't work. Keeps saying it can't find a GPS signal when using the augmented reality but works just fine when using the map. Kind of pointless feature to add if it won't work.

Amazing
The thought of an augmented reality has fascinated me for a while now when I watched "Eden of the east" I was amazed by their app although it was just an anime I dreamt of one day having such technology and although this has a while to go before it can recognize who a person is with just a quick picture it does show a promising future for such a thing. I love this app maybe I'm just a nerd but its awesome xD

Suggested feature
If you used the orientation of the device (accelerometer) to switch between map mode and camera mode it would be good.
No places?
At first it didn't registered any places for me, deleting and reinstalling fixed the problem
Great idea, poor execution
This would be an amazing app if it 1, weren't so glacially slow, and 2, advertisements were not the primary experience.
Nonetheless, I have used it a couple times to explore dining options in a new part if town. How this is better than Yelp, I don't know.
Get it and try it...it's worth that. Then delete it as its not really worth keeping.

Handy app
The app is pretty good. Type in what you are looking for and all kinds of things pop up around you. Navigating the app is a little quirky. The app quits when hitting the back button to go back to the first page. Wish they would fix that.
