WilcoAI is an iPhone and iPad app that lets pilots rehearse ATC radio calls out loud against an AI controller and grades every readback against FAA standard phraseology. It is built for student pilots working toward their certificate, instrument students drilling IFR readbacks, and rated pilots staying current.
Hold the mic button, speak your call or readback, and release to send, the same push-to-talk rhythm as a real half-duplex radio.
A free ATC Daily Challenge every day
• One freshly generated transmission a day, about 60-90 seconds end to end
• A persistent streak counter that rewards daily practice
• Set your callsign and aircraft once; the controller uses them throughout
In Phase Block and Full Flight
• Multiple AI controller voices for ground, tower, departure, center, and approach
• A controller that pushes back when you miss: it says "negative" or "correction" with the corrected item, and asks you to "say again" after a failed call, so you practice recovering from a blown call
Graded against FAA publications, with citations
• Every readback is scored on correctness, clarity, and speed, a composite out of 100
• The debrief shows what you got right, what you missed, what to watch out for, and your transcript
• The Quick Drill catalog tags every category with its FAA reference
No account, no sign-in.
