About

WildlifeRescue turns every phone into a lifeline for injured wildlife. Spotted a hurt bird, hedgehog, or any wild animal in distress? Open WildlifeRescue, snap a photo, and send a report in seconds — no sign-up needed. Smart AI instantly identifies the species and flags whether it's protected by law, so everyone knows how to act. The moment you report, volunteers nearby get an alert and can head out to help. WildlifeRescue coordinates the whole rescue relay — capture, transport, and delivery to a wildlife hospital — with live tracking every step of the way, so you always know the animal is on its way to care. HOW IT WORKS • Report in 30 seconds — photo or video, location, and a note. • AI species identification, with a protected-species flag. • Nearby volunteers get instant alerts within their chosen radius. • A relay chain: one volunteer secures the animal, another drives it to the hospital. • Live tracking from the field to the wildlife hospital. • Built-in chat to coordinate each rescue. FOR VOLUNTEERS Sign up in seconds with phone verification, get notified about animals in distress around you, and take rescue tasks with one tap. Every report is a chance to save a life. What's New in WildlifeRescue

1.0.1

August 5, 2026

Everything now speaks your language. • Species names in your language. When the AI identifies an animal that is not in our built-in catalog, the name is now shown in the language you are using - so a stray dog reads "Domestic Dog" in English and "כלב בית" in Hebrew, instead of always appearing in English. • Notifications in your language. Every alert - a new rescue nearby, an urgent call, a volunteer on the way, an animal admitted to the wildlife hospital - is now written in the language your app is set to. Switch the language in the app and the very next notification follows. • More accurate Hebrew names. Wild species now use the names Israeli nature guides actually use, instead of literal translations. Thank you for helping injured wildlife get to care faster.
