More adventuring!

Awesome way to log outdoor time, and love that it encourages exploring by identifying different plants and animals. We will use this a lot!

Response from developer

Thank you! I’m really glad you’re finding it useful for logging outdoor time and encouraging exploration and noticing along the way. That balance between being outside and reflecting on what was seen is exactly what I hoped to support. Thanks for using WildScribe 🌱 — Chris

Teacher/Mom

Great idea! This will be fantastic for encouraging environmental observations and adds easy literacy based skills used when journaling. Definitely will use when camping, hiking and exploring. Would be perfect if there were pictures of the animals included. That could be helpful with identification and differentiation between species. Love it!

Response from developer

Thank you so much — I really appreciate you taking the time to share this. Encouraging careful observation, reflection, and literacy through journaling was a big part of the vision, so it’s great to hear that coming through, especially for camping and hiking experiences. I also appreciate the feedback about including images to support identification and differentiation. That’s a common request and something I’m thinking carefully about as the app grows, while still keeping it flexible and observation-focused. Thanks again for the encouragement and for getting outside with WildScribe 🌿 — Chris

Wonderful idea!

This is a really great way to get kids excited about being outside. They can collaborate while outside, but this will also be really great to talk about what they saw after the fact. I’m looking forward to a really different way to practice working memory skills! It would be cool if eventually there were images of each plant/animal/insect, but this is a really great initial release!

Response from developer

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this — it really means a lot. I love how you described using WildScribe both during time outside and afterward as a way to revisit and talk through what was noticed. That reflective piece and the connection to working memory is exactly what I hoped the app could support. I really appreciate the suggestion about including images for plants, animals, and insects as the app grows. This is very much an initial release, and feedback like yours helps guide where it goes next. Thanks again for the encouragement and for spending time outdoors with it 🌱 — Chris

Greap app for all ages

Very easy and convenient app to track animals you see around. Handy to be able to gps locations

Response from developer

Thank you! I’m glad you’re finding it easy to use and useful for tracking what you’re seeing. The GPS location piece was designed to help connect observations to place, so it’s great to hear that part is landing well. Thanks for getting outside with WildScribe 🌿 — Chris
