Impossible to cancel, support ignores you
Signed up to watch cricket, but cancelling is a nightmare. The cancel option on the website is broken and there's no way to remove my payment method. Emailed support three times since and got nothing but auto-replies. Got charged again despite asking to cancel. Avoid until they fix this.

Willow has gone from being the best sports app to worst after Cricbuzz took over. Too many problems!! Sorry for inconvenience- Live streaming stopped- technical fault - tap to retry. I pay my subscription to see these msgs
Unwatchable
Only sports streaming service that doesn’t let you hide the scores. Makes watching matches impossible. All you’re paying for is the opportunity to get matches ruined for you. Looking forward to resubscribing again one day!
New version is pathetic
The latest version released in January 2026 is terrible. Not that the earlier versions were great - they were tolerable, but the new version is just garbage. I pay annual subscription and still get this? I think I’d rather watch using IPTV instead of using this private data sucking app.

Streaming Errors
Whenever I want to watch a live game, it’s like, sorry for the inconvenience caused to u. Retry. Refund the money, when your app is not working.
Once great, now shows scores rendering the app useless
Willow was great, but now that you can’t hide scores, it makes Willow as a viewing option impossible. Imagine being told the ending of a movie beforehand? All sports streaming services hide scores. When Willow returns to letting me watch cricket again i will update my review and renew my subscription. It’s wild that a streaming service’s initial screen makes the product unwatchable. Hopefully i can resubscribe to Willow one day. Until then, it’s a spoiler-filled app. Just do an internet search of scores if you want your cricket ruined, no need to pay for that bad experience.

Terrible company no way to cancel
Please do not register and pay this company any money . They don’t let you cancel subscription at all. Really really terrible.
Unreliable
Often there are issues with live coverage. Eg. The Eng Pak 3rd test. Day 2. For 2hpurs now it’s not been available. Very disappointing.
Pathetic: can’t hide score
After cricbuzz association, its has become horrible. We can’t hide scores anymore, which was available before.
Login process UNBEARABLE
This app does not allow an iPhone/ipad to populate the account email, so you have to type it in every time. Additionally, the token to sign in takes five minutes to arrive occasionally. Once logged in the app is fine, but WHY make login so tedious? You are not protecting national secrets!!!

Love having access to the cricket…they get a 1 because they refuse to reinstate the ‘hide score’ feature. I’m really only able to watch replays….and they insist on telling me the score at every turn. Do their advertising partners know that they are likely missing lots of eyes bc willow spoils the end bf many can get to the start?

The app was functioning perfectly fine before the update. However, every time I attempt to use it, I’m forced to log in again, which is both inconvenient and annoying.
Worst app for Cricket live streaming
A school kid can develop a better app, funny part is I have taken subscription from Apple and finally logged into App after going through hell of login issues but it still says take subscription! I reported the issue to support and they came back with some copy paste instructions after a week! Aug 2026, still they haven’t addressed the subscription issue through Apple App Store, I have reported fraud on Apple Store!

The UI is difficult to navigate on iPad
Not sure why simple operations are so difficult. I have to close the app to make any changes.

I have been with willow for long enough and never had any big issues but lately I have been experiencing issues with casting to tv with chromecast. I have sent emails to support with screenshots but all in vain. Only thing I heard was “working on it”. I even renewed the annual subscription and today I had to give 2 stars after trying again and again.

Super basic paying only because no other options
The app is very basic, especially the TV version. You can’t even watch old matches, particularly women’s cricket, which is the main reason I’m paying for the subscription. They have an archive of men’s matches but barely anything for women’s cricket. You also can’t Chromecast, and while you can rewind/go back on the mobile app, you can’t do the same on the TV app. On top of that, there are no full-match replays, only highlights which you can watch on YouTube for free anyway. Overall, it’s really disappointing for a paid service.
