Great for nostalgia

The user experience of the app has really improved over time, I love that I can upload old music files from my childhood/younger years that I could never find on iTunes.

The personalization features are cool too if you like to customize the design.

Childhood memories

It has a lot of bugs, please fix the bugs on iPhone and iPad.

Perfect player. No ads !

U can find free music in player and no any ads.

Love it

It’s nice to know Winamp still lives on after all these years back in 90’s when I had it installed on my PC, now in an app format - extensive choice of radio channels, unbeatable. Keep up the good work team 👍

Everything but an mp3

I can’t make this up the entire experience is great but you can’t play mp3. It does not even try to play them.

Found the app quite reviving but deleted it again

As a vivid winamp user back in the days I found it funny that someone actually reviwed it for IOS. What a great idear.
It also has the equalizer and the sound is great. It has a special look, and seems pretty customizable, also the Mix radio was a nice touch. It could use iCloud I think and Box account. But that is pretty much where the fun stops.
I had a severely hard time actually stopping the music again. There simply were no button at all to start or stop the music.. you have to play something new and be fast to stop it else the player keeps playing! And the main issue would of course be getting music on your device, which was different on a pentium back in the days. In the end I think I rather have a copy of the old player like it originally was I think. At least I could stop the music. I also miss gdrive, dropbox accesss or direct sync, since there is no dvd drive on my iphone…
But I like the app is light and has good quality.. I never did test m4b or other audiobook files than what was in my apple music library at the moment.

Does not read files already on phone

I absolutely love the Windows desktop version of Winamp. I was hoping for a similar experience on the phone. Files that I want to play are already on the phone, but this app will not access them. Major bummer, but this means the app is useless to me in particular.

No updates for 8 months.

All they need to do is to include OpenSubsonic API support to their modern and classic player and they will have themselves a winner. This company is not even trying.

Как добавить треки с телефона?

How add tracks from phone?

???

Did this app go belly up? Interface is decent but everything else is a ghost town.

Horrendous

This app sucks you know what. Do humanity a favor and remove it from the App Store. Zero stars.

Please, fix it.

Great! The best app for music. I love the simplicity and elegance combined with the great sound. But there is one problem. Tracks do not switch automatically when the device is locked. Please fix it.

Winamp in name only

I don't see how the developer thought this was a good idea. It doesn't function as a music player at all, and it certainly doesn't even look like Winamp. This seems poorly thought out and I'm sorry, it needs to go "back to the drawing board".

Very nice UI, but the app fully just does not work.

I've been looking for a good media player for a while, and this one looked really promising on the surface. It looked like everything I needed, except for one small, crucial detail. It doesn't work. It just...does not work.

The entire thing is a frontend with no actual function. When I add music into it via the icloud button in media management, it's always missing when I close and reopen the app. Before that though, if I try to play any of the tracks I had added, they just...don't! No sound, no sign that anything is happening. It's a music player without the player.

I can only assume this is an error, since I would really like to use it, but that's not really possible when it just cannot play the music I try to port into it.

Disappointed

I expected something a kin to the PC version.. This app shouldn't exist 😬

Autoplay doesn’t work

As the title suggests auto play doesn’t work unless you have the app open, I also can’t figure out how to get the music to show up on a music player when my phone is locked, or even in my swipe down menu. I don’t know if Winamp even has this option. Overall it’s really not that useful of an app unless these things get updated. How am I supposed to listen to my music if I have to open my phone every three minutes just to play another song? If this issue gets fixed I’ll definitely come back and use this app

Disappointing

Winamp is the greatest digital audio player of all time, so why this app refuses to reflect that is honestly baffling. There needs to be a better way to bring the absolute unit that is Winamp to iOS, because this is just disappointing. I'm not mad, just please fix this so iPhone users can play their FLAC files without any bloat or stuttering, and has a solid digital equalizer. You know, like Winamp.

Dose not kick the lamas A

I’ve used Winamp almost as long as their has been a Winamp. Just found the iOS version. It doesn’t work. It opens but that’s it. All I wanted was for it to work as well as it did on XP. As in let me point it at file, see the files, play the files, and make a playlist. I guess that was too much to ask for.

No car controls

Unfortunately the app can’t be controlled through car play.
