Wish it had Gusts
As a truck driver I am very torn between this app and Wind Compass. Wind compass shows gusts but does not auto update. Wind Lite updates automatically and frankly I like the interface better. If I could convince the developer to add the wind gusts that would make this app a perfect 5-star app. 4 stars for now, though. Please add gusts.

Kaufversion hat enorm lange Ladezeiten der Windrichtung/-geschwindigkeit. Mal eben nachschauen geht nicht. Dann besser den nassen Finger benutzen.
Low quality
Have to buy upgrade for location and then it can’t find location. I live in a major metropolitan area.
Can’t even get the compass points correct
Awful. Waste of time. Can’t read the compass let alone what the wind is doing. Just go outside and light a cigarette. Question answered
Fix this app update
Had the app for a while. When I did the update for iphone X or IOS 12 compatibility, it quit working. It either dumps me to the home screen or shows a black screen.

Developer fixed the app. It works pretty good now. I like the wind either “to or from” setting.

Hilfreich
Bin täglich lange Strecken mit dem Hund unterwegs. Anhand der Windgeschwindigkeiten entscheide ich zeitweise, ob ich durch den Wald gehe oder ob es dort durch herunterstürzende Äste gefährlich werden kann.
Die App ist da ganz hilfreich, aber es gibt einige wichtige Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten:
Windrichtung: Eine unbewegliche Windrose, auf der sich der Wind-Pfeil bewegt wäre m.E. viel besser, die jetzige Anzeige ist verwirrend.
Böen: Neben der aktuellen Windgeschwindigkeit wären Angaben zu erwartenden Windböen-Geschwindigkeiten hilfreich.
Hinweise zur iWatch-Kompatibilität:
iWatch 1.: Die App synchronisiert sich nicht korrekt mit dem iPhone. Es wird auf der Uhr anderer Ort angezeigt als der, an dem ich mich befinde, den zeigt aber das iPhone richtig an.
iWatch 2.: Es ist nicht möglich die App als Element auf Zifferblatts zu platzieren. Die App kann nur über die Krone angesteuert werden.
iWatch 3.: Ansonsten ist die Darstellung auf der iWatch sehr gut 😀

Windrichtung
Als alter Segler ist für mich der Pfeil leider verkehrt herum.
Der Pfeil muss immer mit der Windrichtung zeigen, d.h. wenn der Wind von Süden kommt, dann zeigt die Pfeilspitze nach Norden. Das muss verbessert werden. Beste Grüße

A rip off from Germany app is not free
App is not free you have to buy it to get any data other than from Germany. Shockingly, wind speed and direction does not auto update.
Upgrade cost 99 cents
They should just post the app for 99 cents. I guess it was made for Berliners.

The free version is useless unless you live in Berlin. The paid version is no better because you can only get data from predetermined weather stations, and you might be miles away from one. Functionally it is poor. The display can't be set to North up and the wind arrow is reversed, so it doesn't point in the direction the wind is blowing but to where the wind is coming from, very odd. Also the app pretends to be live by wobbling the wind arrow around, but it isn't live at all, just takes its data every hour. Finally, I can't set default units. I want mph but it always defaults to Beaufort scale. Altogether this is a disappointing app, I'm better off looking out the window at the trees swaying in the wind.

Worthless
It's a free app, that you must upgrade to get your current location. So, it's really not free. Hence, it's worthless. Free apps are exist.
A con
The app is not free. Once downloaded, the app displays the wind direction for a location in Germany. I am in Uk, and would need to pay to get Uk wind information. Waste of time!
