Seems I’m not alone
I was excited to try this but there’s no “sign up” only “sign in”. When I click on the Facebook it says bad gateway and when I clicked support here in App Store the link was invalid. There’s no website that I can find either. Even if they fix it they haven’t exactly inspired confidence.

Just as a few other reviews stated when I try setting it up all I get is error message bad gateway. Then there’s no way to get any directions to fix the issue. Too bad I’m definitely deleting.

I’ve been trying to login with this app for months & everytime I try thru Facebook it says the app isn’t set up & if I try with my email I get another error message. I tried contacting the app customer support through here & got a bad gateway error message. Deleting!
It won’t accept any of my emails or Facebook login to even start up an account!
I searched for the app again to see if I could get the Customer Support info, but to no avail.
But instead I did read the review of the person whom had received over $11 from the Walmart Saving Catcher, but had not received NOTHING from WINDFALL from the same area. The person was afraid that they were just taking & using their private information so I’m glad now my emails didn’t work at the time of set up.
After I leave here I’m going to delete the Windfall app from my phone.

The app said bad gateway when creating an account.
What happened
I loved this app for helping me save money. I got around $17 back over a few shopping trips but then after a number of months of You got the Best Prices it now won't even recognize and items on my receipt. How can't it have Tide Pods in its system? On a trip to Walmart recently I used Windfall and Savings Catcher and when Savings Catcher found a lower price Windfall still showed I got the best price. I reported this to the developers and have never gotten a response. Guess it's time to delete it and free up some space for a less worthless app.

Doesn't seem to work
I have been using this app in conjunction with Walmart's Savings Catcher. In using them for the same amount of time, and on the same receipts, Walmart's Savings Catcher has found $11 and some change in refunds while Windfall has found nothing. Windfall always says I got the best prices. I can't validate that Windfall actually works because it has found no refunds for me. It makes me suspicious that the creators of the app are only after my personal info.
However, I do wonder if it only works in certain locations or if it is using a different method to find refunds than what I assume... there's my benefit of a doubt for you...

Not worth it
When it checks my Walmart receipts it never finds lower prices but the Walmart app always finds lower prices on every receipt I scan.
Don't bother
The app is easy to use which is a plus. However it often doesn't recognize items, so it can't check the price. In addition it *might* check for better prices when you submit the receipt, but it definitely does not check/notify you during the 14-30 days when you are still eligible for a price match if there is a sale or price change.
For a few weeks I received no notifications. When I was in store at Target I saw a better price. Windfall showed no savings. I brought my receipt in anyway the next day and saved $2. Emailed Windfall and got no response. Who know how much other savings I missed out on. Just deleted the app. Too bad it doesn't work. It is a cool idea.

Nothing works, don't give them access to your info.

I have used this 3 times already and 2 times I got money back. Just make sure you keep your receipts so you can cash it in.

I linked my Amazon account but no purchases show up.
App is broken and is selling data to retailers
I used this app for weeks and it simply doesn't work. They told me Walmart owed me money. I drove 60 miles (closest Walmart) only to find that I am in fact not eligible for a refund and they even laughed to my face when I showed them Windfall. I have friends in the industry and they told me that Windfall and others sell data to marketers and retailers. I'm deleting this app. Stay away from this!

I like this app so much! I've saved money at Walmart and target since I've used it... And it's nice because even if something goes on sale days after you buy it the app notifies you so you can go in and get your $ back :)
