Useless

It says my tint is 85% when it is closer to 50. Also, it only let me do it once before it put me in a forever calibration loop of trying to force me to pay money.

Waste of time and money

I subscribed to this app so I could measure the tint on my car windows to see if I could pass MD safety inspection. It showed a much higher VLT than the legal spec even though the tint was fairly dark. I failed the inspection. This app is useless in my opinion.

Flaw app

The app had good design and potential but the VLT reading was inaccurate. I have a relatively noticeable tint around 35% but it reads it as 75% (which should be almost clear).

App isn’t free, it’ll let you use it once then force you to subscribe to a plan.

Ads and payment galore

Despite how it’s marketed on the App Store, this app is not free. It also shows ads, which aren’t shown in the screen shots. It also blocks you after 3ish attempts with full screen non dismissible ads.
An up front payment would have been more honest. So instead I’ll go elsewhere.

Response from developer

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. There seems to be a severe misunderstanding or a case of mistaken identity. Our app has absolutely zero advertising code inside it. It is physically impossible for our app to show full-screen ads or block you. contact us at so we can help you verify this.

Works consistently

I tested it on different windows and the results were pretty stable each time. That’s all I needed.

Quick results

The app opens fast and gives results almost instantly. Nice tool to have if you’re into cars.
