Might be a cool app but wouldn’t let me register

I tried multiple times with multiple emails and couldn’t register. The only error i received was, “Unable to register”.

Amazing app

We have never had a reliable wind source app while boating on Utah lake until now. This app is amazing and should be used by all boaters. I believe it can, and will save lives. Thank you!!

Essential app

Headed out on calm early afternoon from Lindon Marina. We were out for about 30 minutes with winds at about 5 knots then, oh boy, the wind gusted to 26 knots.

Sailing is as they say, “95 percent boredom and 5 percent terror.” We experienced the 5 percent at that point.

When we returned to the Marina we were asked if we had the app, we didn’t but do now. We use the app religiously.

Lake user

I have been on Utah lake when the winds have come up. It is not all that fun. One thing I find helpful is that I don’t live real close to the lake and sometimes the wind seems calm at my house. Now I can know if it is too windy to hit the lake before I leave home. I would like to see a place to set the times when I get alerts. I don’t necessarily need the alerts in the middle of the night. I think this is a very helpful app.

We appreciate the feedback! While mobile notifications are only sent when you are subscribed on the "Map" page. If you register for text notifications, text notifications are sent out every-time there is an alert. We have added this feature to our development board. We hope to be able to implement this into a future release to allow more customization on Text alerts. Currently you can unsubscribe and resubscribe for texts alerts in the app, however it isn't as easy as the mobile notifications. We will also try to make this easier in a future release.

I believe this app will help me stay safe while on the Utah Lake. Although I have not had a chance to use it it yet. I sure it will be beneficial.

Just a thought you should dial in on places where people actually launch boats. For example Lincoln Beach etc.

Thank you for the suggestion! We are always looking to pull in more weather stations. We will keep an eye out to see if we can find something closer to Lincoln Beach and the other boat launching areas.

I haven’t tested this on the lake yet but looking forward to it!

I am wondering If there is a bug on the alert history page because the text is double layered when using it on my iPhone 8. I have a screen shot. Will revise rating later. Thanks for making this!
