Revamped app is terrible
This was an absolute hidden gem of an app that allowed you to basically enter a recipe - every ingredient, how they were cooked, etc. - or pick from hundreds of preloaded ones - and get dozens of potential wine pairings, with nuances of region, age, style, etc. Alternatively, the incredible library of wines and producers included in the app allowed you to pick a wine you wanted to drink, and then recommended tons of possible dishes to pair - an incredibly unique feature I still can’t find anywhere else. All of that is now gone in the new version, which is buggy, less user friendly, and has eliminated many of the unique wine entries it previously had. As the other reviewer said, I give up.

I Give Up!
Old version was working fine. I was subscribed and it was wonderful. And then the app was updated. Wow, what a mistake. No, a series of mistakes. First, you can’t just input a main. ingredient and then others. It makes you pick a recipe close to what you are making then add and delete. Annoying and time consuming. And it did not recognize my subscription. Complained to the developer three times, nothing. Finally I but a new subscription through the app and guess what, it STILL does not recognize it. Screw it, life is too short to deal with this type of thing. Don’t waste your time.

Impossible to contact anyone!
I joined as a PREMIUM member and have never been able to access benefits. Also, no ability to contact anyone to dispute.

Great app but crashing
This is an awesome app for wine and food pairing! I love how you can enter your own ingredients / dishes and run the search. However, it has recently just started crashing all the time, so now I can’t really use it at all! Bug fix?

Every year WineStein charges my credit card. If I try to logon though it tells me the vendor is no longer compatible with the IOS currently. Beware - no support...

My app, which I’ve had for several years, recently reverted to the company’s native language. I have tried desperately, and to no avail, to the get a response via email, why this happened and could they please change it back to English?

Non-functional
This new version insists you create an account by supplying an email address, but you can't complete that process (iPhone 6 plus / iOS 8.1.3).
You can also create an account using Facebook but I don't trust them.

Buggy and odd yet satisfying
Slightly odd interface. I would like the dishes that I search to be more simple than things like 'calf liver sautéed in milk with thistle'.
With that being said I use this app a lot to point me in the right direction. Keep up the good work.

I would love to try using this app. The concept is quite useful. But After downloading the latest version you cannot see the entire screen just to give your info in order to make an account. Please modify and allow a person to make an account more easily!!!!

I loved this app until it asked me to log in using Facebook or sign up; fine so I try Facebook login and the app shuts down repeatedly! I try to login with a password and email but because I cannot remember my password I can't login and there is no link to reset a password! Seriously what is going on with this app?? No help links or anything, very very poor!!!

Update is a huge disappointment
This used to be a 5 star app that my wife and I turned to regularly. It was amazing to see how accurately the app was able to match recipe ingredients with wine pairings. So imagine our surprise today when we first had to register and then after entering the ingredients for a simple pizza it came up with zero suggestions. Please fix or get out of the business.

Must set up an account to use. Fine if you want but data could have been stored locally only. More data mining from another app. No thanks. Shouldn't have updated old app as it then no longer works and forces you to install this one. Next steps. Go to old backup to get back old one.
