Needs another feature or two

I loved the app, but now we can’t get it to work on anyone’s phone without either crashing or not allowing adding to playlist

No longer supported?

One of my favourite apps, but the playlist isn't working, nor are the newer cards. I hope someone works on this project again!

Doesn’t work! 🥺

We used to LOVE this app along with the Wingspan board game. But lately it just doesn’t work. Some cards don’t register at all when scanned, and there is no way to add them to a playlist now… SO SAD! 😞😭 We really miss it!

FAQ

What does Wingsong do?

Wingsong allows you to hear the actual bird songs associated with the bird cards from the popular board game 'Wingspan'. You can use your smartphone's camera to scan a bird card and instantly play its corresponding chirping sound.

How can I use the bird songs in the app?

Beyond just identifying individual bird songs, you can add birds from your wildlife preserve to a playlist. This playlist will then play the songs randomly during your game, creating a more immersive and engaging 'Wingspan' experience.

Is this app free to use?

The app is free to download and use for its core functionality of identifying bird songs. However, it does offer in-app purchases, suggesting there may be additional features or content available for purchase.

What devices is Wingsong compatible with?

The app description mentions using the camera of your smartphone, indicating it is designed for mobile devices. While specific operating system requirements are not detailed, it is likely compatible with modern iOS and Android smartphones.

How does the camera feature work?

To use the camera feature, you simply hold a bird card from the 'Wingspan' board game up to your smartphone's camera. The app will then recognize the bird on the card and play its associated sound.
