Got this app to learn how to play the board game
My husband recently bought me Wingspan board game for my birthday. It was a bit tricky to understand the rules so I decided to get this app to play online to understand the rules better. This was a tremendous help and I think others would find it helpful as well. Plus it’s fun to be able to play online with others or a bot when playing the board game is not practical this game is fun because there are a lot of variables to think about and it changes with all the different bird cards and goals for each round. Also, the bird cards are informative and very pretty.
I don’t play a lot of online board games, but compared to Catan, this is much more economical and gives you much more variety. It also seems like the creators care about what the players think and are willing to make changes.

Sights, Sounds & Strategy
Wingspan is an amazingly good board game, and it is possibly even better as a mobile or console game. The animations, soundtrack and voiceover all add more beautiful layers to this excellent strategy game. 100% worth your time and money if you like a strategic game and a relaxing player experience.
Fun time
Easy to to play, great sounds. Like that we can play together on our phones without needing to set up and clean up the board game. Much quicker.
A must for any birder!

No longer works
This is a great game.....however, it no longer works on my iPad Pro 2 on 26.6 iOS. In fact, it hasn't worked for months now. The loading screen appears and that's it.....it never changes. Shame, I miss playing this game

I love this app it is my favorite but I have an older iPad and it crashes almost every game
Love the game
Love the game but am constantly getting kicked out and then can’t get bag in so I lose the game and karma points. I have cleared out my phone but it doesn’t seem to matter and I can’t find any help online with the problem. Maybe developers could give me some advice?
Bugs
I LOVE wingspan but I can’t get past one or 2 turns on my iPad without it crashing and forcing me to reload it and start over. Essentially it’s unplayable on my iPad. I have plenty of storage and I’ve tried all kinds of resets and upgrades on my iPad. I’m so disappointed I can’t play it and wasted my money.

Hard to see or read
What so excited to get this game even with accessibility settings unfortunately I can’t read the font on my phone and most things are not recognized by the screen reader. Hey dev team help a girl out please!
Games crashes frequently
I’m a huge fan of this game and have played over 900 hours of it on Steam with zero performance issues. However, the iPad version is a huge disappointment. I bought it for my iPad today and played an online game with one friend and three AI players. The game crashed at least 10 times over the course of the game causing me to have to launch it again to resume the game. Every time I launched the game, including the very first time, it sat there for a very long time on the title screen, sometimes 1-2 minutes and sometimes 3-4 minutes. My iPad is up to date on the latest iOS. I hope these performance issues get resolved as it’s truly a remarkable game and Monster Couch’s digital implementation is so superbly well done.

Great fun
Love this board game. Beautiful illustration and sounds. I love the UI and UX. It is really easy to learn. I prefer Wingspan to Ark Nova.
Bugs
Fantastic game and adaptation! However since getting the newest update my game keeps glitching every time the ai opponent uses a bird that asks me if I want to discard a bird to get a fish. If I say no that option menu stays on the screen and I can’t progress. If I go to the main menu all of the menu options are blank. Kept happening after 4-5 reboots.

“Settings” freezes game and rules for online gaming?
Accidentally hitting “Settings” freezes app and have to uninstall (ios 14pro). Also no online game /scoring rules! What is the neon pink icon??
Great, but crashing a lot
We really like playing this, but the game keeps crashing. It crashes most often when switching from player to player. It happens so often we almost can’t play it. If this could be fixed, it would be perfect.

Truly incredible!
Wingspan is my favorite board game. I love this adaptation of the physical board game. From the music to the gameplay mechanics everything is so smooth. Everything looks great on my phone screen and even crisper on my iPad.
Karma Points glitch
On group games, will randomly not inform me when it’s my turn. I am trying to claw my way out of 1/100 for months now due to this glitch. Have tried reaching out to developer to restore my points and no response. Have invested many hours into this game trying to build up, and it goes to waste when this glitch takes place.
I hope during your next update you’ll restore everyone’s karma points to 100 and have the bugged fix, as this has obviously affected lots of players when you read recent reviews.

Amazing game. Amazing experience on the iPad
I love Wingspan. It still hits the table quite a bit with my wife and I. Having the digital version is such a relaxing way to reset my brain during the day. The UI is so beautiful and intuitive. I own it on iPad and also PS5 because I love it so much!
