Pop up video ads make it impossible to read articles
The articles are already laden with ads, there’s an ad before you play the video on a news story. Now there are pop up ads that keep popping back up after closing them making it impossible to read the actual stories.
PLEASE FIX THIS!! Pop up video advertising is out of hand
Cannot read up on any of the stories due to advertising video taking over the screen. So aggravating! Thankfully the notifications have enough info on them to get the point across cause the app won’t stay on the page long enough for me to read any extra details.
Unusable
Love winks news on the tv so figured I’d get the app. As soon as you open the app, videos pop up and no matter how many times you close them, they pop right back up. Don’t waste your time.
I Despise WINK News App!!
Every time you open it, you can't read any article without a pop-up constantly covering the page. You can shove it to the side and within a split second it's back again and it's constant the whole time you're trying to read the article. It's a pain in the neck and ridiculous! From now on I'll get my news from any app other than WINK news!

Pop ups prevent me from reading the articles
I have to get my news simply by reading the notification I receive on my phone because every time I open the app my phone is possessed by these ridiculous pop up videos. I swipe the video and it disappears for a few seconds and then pops up again until finally the video takes over my screen and then the screen goes black. It’s terribly frustrating and it needs to be fixed.

Gulf of Mexico!
In the free world it is still called the Gulf of Mexico! Deleting the app.
Doesn’t work
Doesn’t work. I open the app and immediately some random pop up video starts playing and when I close the video it immediately starts playing again. Then when it FINALLY closes the app freezes and I can’t view any of the news.
Pop videos
Such a nuisance with the videos constantly popping up when trying to read an article.
Garbage app
This app is unusable garbage. Full screen ads pop up nonstop and makes it so you can’t read a word of any article. Don’t waste your time!
So many pop up videos
App is almost unusable. Cant read anything without a video popping up taking over your screen every 10 seconds
Horrible app
Use to be a good news app. Now i cant read a single article without an ad popping up every 5 seconds. Just shows hoe desperate and greedy they are for money.
Ad videos make it unusable
Every time I’m trying to read an update about the weather or any other news article on the app I am just bombarded with ad videos that I can’t seem to close. It pops up within seconds of closing it down and after multiple attempts I usually just close the app completely and look up the article or news report from another app/news station

WINK app needs updating
Useless. The WINK news app is so frustrating due to embedded ads that I can’t get Live News to work for more than a minute. I go to the website. Which means the app is useless.
Completely unusable
The app with the constant ad loading keeps jumping around. You cannot even read an article without the page changing to some sort of ad.
Useless
I’m deleting. It’s become unusable. Pop ups & ads constantly that you can’t even read a single thing.
Not worth it
Waste of time downloading this app. Use to be good but now i cant read an article without constantly having to close pop up videos. Uninstalled it and switched to Gulf Coast News app.
Advertising covers the entire page! Horrible!
Fix your landing page! Whenever I open the app, I cannot see any news articles because they are all covered with 2 or 3 ads. Who designed this anyway? It’s difficult to scroll down to the news stories. Then when you start reading one, the app “jumps.” Please fix this mess-very unprofessional for a so-called News site.
