Ad videos make it unusable
Every time I’m trying to read an update about the weather or any other news article on the app I am just bombarded with ad videos that I can’t seem to close. It pops up within seconds of closing it down and after multiple attempts I usually just close the app completely and look up the article or news report from another app/news station

WINK app needs updating
Useless. The WINK news app is so frustrating due to embedded ads that I can’t get Live News to work for more than a minute. I go to the website. Which means the app is useless.
Completely unusable
The app with the constant ad loading keeps jumping around. You cannot even read an article without the page changing to some sort of ad.

I’m deleting. It’s become unusable. Pop ups & ads constantly that you can’t even read a single thing.
Not worth it
Waste of time downloading this app. Use to be good but now i cant read an article without constantly having to close pop up videos. Uninstalled it and switched to Gulf Coast News app.
Advertising covers the entire page! Horrible!
Fix your landing page! Whenever I open the app, I cannot see any news articles because they are all covered with 2 or 3 ads. Who designed this anyway? It’s difficult to scroll down to the news stories. Then when you start reading one, the app “jumps.” Please fix this mess-very unprofessional for a so-called News site.

Can’t even read the news because so many pop-ups of junk ads
Clutter!!!!
After the most recent update, your app, which has been great and helpful up until now, is a mess of cluttered ads. It’s almost impossible to find things because there are so many ads at the top of the screen at the bottom of the screen. It’s ridiculous. If this doesn’t get fixed, I’ll be deleting this app which is sad because I have depended on it for news and weather in our area. Please clean it up! I realize those ads pay for things but could you at least make it a little more user-friendly?

What is up with this?
Upgraded to the new version and oh my!!! It had some issues before with the live feed just stopping. This version’s even worse. Won’t full screen, keep’s refreshing and keep getting the “spinning wheel” where it just hangs up. Been around computers for over 45 years and have found that a fair amount of upgrades are unnecessary, especially this one.

Stop Auto Playing!
I used to love this app and frequented it numerous times a day for news. Now, every time you open it or click on a link it starts blasting you with the sound. It catches you off guard and is quite embarrassing if you’re in public. I have not found anywhere on it for settings to stop that. They’ve ruined this app just like their spell checking/grammar skills.

Takes over my speaker
It’s overall a good app but I prefer to READ my news not watch it or listen to it. Every time I open a story to read it automatically starts playing. This is a recent change and I really dislike it. I am avoiding opening articles now. No support or comments link available for tech support.
Lose the audio ads
I’m not a fan of the new automatic ad audio coming on when I click a link. Your app has been deleted. I’ll check back someday in the hopes that you realize video isn’t always appropriate.
Worse app ever
I love WINK news but I have found myself drifting to Gulf Coast News on my phone, they sometimes have a short commercial before the newscast but at least you can watch it, if I want to just READ an article on WINK I get a pesty video of I don’t know what preventing me to read the article. I wish someone could make this app better to use.
