The app determines how the weather may affect your match, and generates the probability of that match being played. WIP Tennis is smarter than a generic weather app. The app thinks like a tennis player. Weather matters, but so does what happens after the rain. A hard court can be ready in minutes. Green clay drains fast. Red clay can stay wet for hours. WIP Tennis factors in your surface, recent rainfall, sun, wind, and whether the court gets squeegeed, then estimates how quickly it will be playable. The app also takes into consideration heat index, wind speeds and weather related USTA league rules. Predictions get sharper the closer it gets to match time. Days out, the forecast is treated with healthy caution. Within a couple of hours, it leans on live readings and radar for a confident call. And if conditions turn dangerous, like a heat index above 100 degrees, you get a clear heads up. When the match is over users can record if the match was played, got rained out, moved indoors, or rescheduled. Users can also log scores, partners, and the result.
